Monique supports many charities in the USA - Dirty Dog Squad, Mustang Heritage Foundation, Wild Horse Preservation Campaign, Wild Horse Freedom Federation, Wild Horses In Need, Southern Conservation Trust. In Canada she has supported Alzheimer's society of Alberta, BC Cancer foundation and Wild Horses of Alberta Society.

Is an advocate for American Mustangs and has adopted one of her own. Monique named her Joan Jett for her attitude and wild spirit.

Linda Ganderton, Monique's mom, is in the Set Decorating department and her team was nominated for an Oscar for the 'Revenant'. Her sister Angela Ganderton also works in film in the Costume Department. Her other sister, Christine Ganderton works as a top hair stylist in their hometown Edmonton.

Adopted a pot belly pig named Waylon.
