I think it’s safe to say that I wasn’t the only fan of Arrow who was extremely happy to see Manu Bennett return as Slade Wilson in season 5’s finale. Having capably played the mercenary as both ally and nemesis to Oliver Queen throughout the show’s first two seasons, he’s undoubtedly been one of the more memorable actors to have come through the door.
That being said, it’s doubly exciting to hear that Deathstroke will be a recurring character in season 6, with a two-part arc set to be devoted to him. And with flashbacks reportedly being said to be key to that thread, it stands to reason that we may very well gain some insight into Slade’s family.
As you may recall, Oliver promised to help Wilson find his son in the concluding episode of season 5, something that we fully expect to pay off in the coming year.

It’s been an exciting week for fans of the DC Extended Universe, as some interesting new information has leaked out on Reddit that’s given us a bit of an idea as to how Warner Bros. is planning to proceed with a number of the upcoming efforts in their cinematic universe. Of course, nothing has been confirmed by the studio just yet, but a lot of what we’re hearing does make sense, and that’s certainly the case with this latest tidbit.
According to the report on Reddit, the villain for Chris McKay’s Nightwing film, which will apparently release on Memorial Day weekend 2019, will be none other than Grant Wilson, who’s “hired by Roland Desmond to take out all the mob bosses in Blüdhaven.” The name Wilson is no coincidence, either, as Grant is, in fact, the son of Slade Wilson aka Deathstroke, who’s being...

It seems that in the past several months, the DC Extended Universe has been experiencing a bit of a course correction. That course correction began in the middle of last year, when they created DC Films to help shepherd this entire universe in a specific direction. In the time since the release of Batman v Superman, we’ve seen film after film get announced: The Batman, Black Adam, Gotham City Sirens, Suicide Squad 2, Nightwing, and most recently, Batgirl. Add that to the original films they already had on their slate, and it’s not too difficult to notice that the viability of some of those films is kind of up in the air at this point.
So what is there plan? My gut as a curious fan wants them to hold another press conference to let us know how the rest of this universe will shake out. That being said,...

The new Teen Titans are still figuring out how to be a team in a sneak peek at Teen Titans: The Judas Contract. Besides the fact they made Raven and Beast boy young again, I'm down with the idea that this is a new lineup of heroes! These guys are no Young Justice, and they probably won't capture my heart like the original animated series did, but I can see myself following a few of their adventures. Check out the team bickering in the clip below.
Deathstroke the Terminator has a long held grudge against the Titans relating to the death of his son Grant Wilson the original Ravager. In order to fulfill this grudge he seduces a 15 year old with the extraordinary ability to command the very earth to her will.

If you enjoyed last year's Justice League Vs. Teen Titans, you're gonna want to check out this first trailer for DC Animation's Teen Titans: The Judas Contract. The film is based on the New Teen Titans story arc by Marv Wolfman and George Perez.
The story centers on the young psychopath Tara Markov, who is seduced and trained by Deathstroke to infiltrate the Teen Titans and tear them apart from within. Here's a brief story description:

This is definitely one of the more shocking Teen Titan storylines. If you've read it, then you know how it all ends, but I won't spoil it here for anyone that doesn't know.

Manu Bennett is that you? Filming is currently underway for the 100th episode of Arrow and all week long, actor Stephen Amell has teased the appearance of a mystery actor that had the fandom speculating for hours on end. Just moments ago, Amell may have Tweeted the identity of the mystery actor as he release the pic of himself and Deathstroke on a bench. With Amell wearing the same clothes he had on in an earlier social media post with fellow Arrow star David Ramsey, it seems fairly safe to assume that Slade Wilson will also be appearing in the 100th episode. The question now is whether that's actually Manu beneath the mask? Last season, Legends of Tomorrow aired a time-traveling episode set in the future of Star City that featured an older Green Arrow taking on a version of Deathstroke that turned out to be his son, Grant Wilson...

Arrow's Stephen Amell makes a guest appearance in Legends Of Tomorrow’s mostly-ace future jaunt, Star City 2046…
This review contains spoilers.
1.6 Star City 2046
Set in a futuristic Star(ling) City with new versions of the Green Arrow and Deathstroke duking it out across an almost-totally-destroyed cityscape, this week’s Legends Of Tomorrow had a lot going for it. Unlike most of the prior episodes, Star City 2046 wasn’t shackled to the ongoing quest to defeat Vandal Savage and instead allowed the Waverider crew to cover all-new ground.
And, when they were out exploring this catastrophically-ruined locale, a lot of fun was had by all. For one, we got to see Dominic Purcell’s Heat Wave and Wentworth Miller’s Captain Cold showcasing how different they’ve become, as the former wished to stay in this criminal’s paradise while the latter wanted to get back to saving the world.

Zap2it: Now that your former partner, Grant Wilson, has gone on to other ventures, who on the Taps (The Atlantic Paranormal Society) team has really stepped up?
Jason Hawes: Oh, Steve [Gonsalves, the tech manager], 100 percent. Most people don't realize Steve's been with me longer than Grant. He's been with me for years longer than Grant.
Q: At the beginning of the show, we saw you do a lot of investigations in private homes; now it seems more weighted toward businesses and historical sites. Why is that?
A: I have final say on what cases we investigate, but Syfy and Pilgrim Films have final say on what airs on the network. So it's totally understandable. There are a lot of cases we do that never air.
Q: Can you go anywhere without being recognized?
A: It's usually not bad. In [my home state of] Rhode Island, because it's such a small state, everybody's used to seeing me.

Fans don't have too much longer to wait before getting to see Manu Bennett's take on the archvillain Deathstroke, but in the meantime, we here at Hollywood Justice have decided to take a look back at Deathstroke's history in the comics, to whet your appetite for his forthcoming "Arrow" appearance. Who is this master assassin, and what drives him? Let's find out.
Deathstroke, Aka Slade Wilson, made his first appearance in 1980's "New Teen Titans" #2, wherein the assassin sought to aid his son Grant Wilson, Aka Ravager, in his vendetta against the teen superhero team. When Grant died in the ensuing battle, Slade swore vengeance of his own. Endowed with an enhanced physique and an arsenal of deadly weapons, Deathstroke proved himself in repeated confrontations to be one of the Titans' most enduring and implacable foes.
