Sincerely, I didn’t see that coming. Watching Hale get pancaked by a speeding van during Half-Sack’s funeral in Sons of Anarchy Season 3 felt like someone yanked the carpet from under my feet – no warning, just bam, goodbye moral compass.

Sure, the kill came from contract frictions and some seriously ugly behind-the-scenes shade, but it also cracked open new story veins.

When it comes to crime dramas, there's certainly no shortage of titles from which to choose, and right now, the genre is on fire with recent hits like Adolescence, MobLand, and Dope Thief. They're just about on every platform, and they range in intensity from mild and comedic to gritty and violent.

Bruce Dickinson and Z2 Comics have announced The Mandrake Project: Year One, a graphic novel that compiles the first four issues of the Iron Maiden singer’s Mandrake Project comic-book series. A deluxe edition was printed with ink mixed with soil from legendary poet William Blake’s grave.

Last year, Dickinson released the solo album The Mandrake Project, along with four issues of the accompanying comic-book series of the same name. He recently announced a North American tour in support of the project, kicking off August 22nd in Anaheim, California (pick up tickets here).

In 2012, Discovery moved forward with its own bikers show. Titled The Devils Ride, the reality show follows a real-life gang as they undergo hardship and troubles just like Samcro in Sons of Anarchy. Now, Coates is back on our screens in the Netflix series American Primeval, but before we get there, the Canadian-born actor took time to reflect on Sons of Anarchy in a new interview with MovieWeb.

His downfall happens outside the ring, when a brawl with an upstart boxer leads to a tragic shooting. Fuqua filmed Southpaw with the same gritty style as Training Day and The Equalizer movies. The matches were also shot in real-time with Gyllenhaal fighting experienced boxers.

Tom Holland and Daisy Ridley's dystopian sci-fi film Chaos Walking will soon be streaming for free. The film will be available on Tubi beginning Jan. 1, 2025.

Chaos Walking was released in 2021 and was based on Patrick Ness's science fiction trilogy of the same name. The film adapted the series' first book, The Knife of Never Letting Go. Tom Holland starred as Todd Hewitt, a young man who lives in a world with no women where all creatures can hear each other's thoughts through a series of images, words and sounds called "noise". When Viola Eade (played by Daisy Ridley) crash lands on the all-male planet, Todd protects her from danger. Chaos Walking was an infamous box office flop for Lionsgate, making only $27.1 million despite the film's $100+ million budget.

A new feature film with a solid cast has been announced. The cast will reunite two stars of Sons of Anarchy along with fan favorites from Breaking Bad and From.

Per The Hollywood Reporter, the starring cast has been revealed for the upcoming indie drama movie Out Come the Wolves. The film will reportedly star Ryan Hurst (The Walking Dead) and Taryn Manning (Orange Is the New Black), both of whom appeared in the earlier seasons of Sons of Anarchy. The movie will also star Giancarlo Esposito and Harold Perrineau, with other attached cast members including Orlando Norman, Spence Moore II, Heidi Grace Engerman, Cassady McClincy Zhang, Sam Rechner, West Mulholland, and Curran Walters.
