After a distinguished and recognized career as a casting director, acting coach and theater director, Moira has begun to move into the field of directing and writing her film projects.
Widely recognized in the film industry for her talent in casting direction and acting coaching, her credits in the field include The Movie Teller (2023), directed by Lone Scherfig and co-produced by Spain, Chile and France, and A Fantastic Woman (2017), directed by Sebastián Lelio. In this film, Moira worked as casting director and acting coach for Daniela Vega, the lead actress.
The film won the Oscar for Best Foreign Language Film, as well as other important awards internationally. Her credits also include Neruda (2016) (Fénix for Best Film) and Ema (2019), both directed by Pablo Larraín, and The Cow Who Sang a Song Into the Future (2022), directed by Francisca Alegria and premiering at the 2022 Sundance Film Festival, among many others.
Moira is currently developing two film projects of her own.
