- Father is former NHL goaltender and goaltending coach Rejean Lemelin.

- By the 6th grade, Stephanie had been to 5 schools -- moving from New Jersey, to Alabama, to Atlanta, to Calgary, Alberta, Canada; and finally, to two different towns in Massachusetts. She credits these moves as her first experience in acting training.

- In March of 2013, Stephanie gave birth to a son named Xavier. Child's father is her husband A.J. Draven. In 2015, their family welcomed identical twin girls, Lola Draven and Rocky Draven.
- After years of volunteering with Best Friends Animal Society, LA Programs - Stephanie helped found a pit bull rescue and advocacy group known as Angel City Pit Bulls. She is still an active board member and foster mom to many.
- Often appears as herself on Animal Planet's reality TV show, Pit Boss, as a representative of Angel City Pit Bulls, a non-profit pit bull rescue and advocacy group on whose board she is a member.
- Twin daughters, Lola Draven and Rocky Draven (father is A.J. Draven) play Baby Charlotte in Season 3 of Playing House (2014). They also star as Baby Daniel in the opening scene of Nike's "Unlimited You" commercial for the 2016 Olympics.
- Graduated 2001 from University of Pennsylvania. Majored in Communications. Minored in English.
- After graduating college and moving to LA, Stephanie was cast as a series regular in 6 consecutive TV pilots. The first 5 were not picked up for series, but her luck changed when ABC picked up Cavemen for series on its 2007 fall schedule.
- Took over as the voice of Eep for DreamWorks' Animation's The Croods after Emma Stone, coincidentally both she and Stone had appeared in the series Malcolm in the Middle but for different seasons and different episodes, their characters were involved in story-lines dealing with Reese Wilkerson.
- Junior and Senior Class President of her high school outside Boston, MA.
- Has 2 rescued dogs - Brucely, from South Central L.A., and Stanley, from New Orleans, whom she found while volunteering with Emergency Communities in St. Bernard Parish.
