‘X-Men’ Movie At Marvel Studios Circling ‘Thunderbolts*’ Director Jake Schreier To Assemble New Team – The Dish
Image
Exclusive: Following the successful launch of Thunderbolts*, director Jake Schreier might already have his sights set on the next big Marvel Studios project, as sources tell Deadline he is in early talks to direct the studio’s new X-Men movie.

It is unknown where things stand in the dealmaking process, but insiders say that, following a meeting this past week, Schreier looks to be the top choice to take on one of the studio’s most anticipated projects. Michael Lesslie penned the script with Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige producing.

Marvel Studios had no comment.

The studio has been taking its time in finding the right person to take over directing duties and has made it clear it doesn’t want to rush the process — similar to how it handled pitches from potential writing candidates last year.

Upcoming Comic Convention Appearance Leads To Speculation About Brie Larson's Avengers: Doomsday Role
Image
As exciting as it was to see Marvel Studios reveal the cast of Avengers: Doomsday at the end of March, even more intriguing for fans was who didn't get a mention.

There was no Hugh Jackman, Tom Holland, Ryan Reynolds, or Elizabeth Olsen (to name just a handful of absentees), prompting speculation about whether they're being kept under wraps or perhaps saved for Avengers: Secret Wars.

Comic Con Liverpool has announced that Captain Marvel star Brie Larson is the headline guest at its November show, leaving many to wonder whether the Oscar-winner will be in the UK at the time to shoot Avengers: Doomsday.

Adding further fuel to the fire is the fact that pretty much the entire Ahsoka cast attended last weekend's Comic Con Liverpool event, and they're all currently in the UK working on season 2.

While it may be a coincidence, it does seem likely that Larson will...

What Marvel Comics tells us about the future of the Thunderbolts in the MCU
Image
It’s been a while since we’ve had a traditional Avengers movie, and even though Marvel Cinematic Universe overlord Kevin Feige suggested we’d have to wait a little longer for another, Jake Schreier’s Thunderbolts* is an Avengers-lite outing hiding in the shadows. While some clocked that the movie’s mysterious asterisks could be hiding an eventual Dark Avengers rebrand, others were on the money that Thunderbolts* was actually a placeholder for The New Avengers.

It didn’t take long for the MCU to retitle the ensemble as The New Avengers, but for those keeping up with things, you’ll know it puts Valentina Allegra de Fontaine’s (Julia Louis-Dreyfus) rag-tag team of rogues at odds with the old guard of Avengers that we expected to see back in action. Captain America: Brave New World saw President Thaddeus Ross (Harrison Ford) task Sam Wilson (Anthony Mackie) with reforming the Avengers.

How Thunderbolts*’ Songbird tease brings us closer to a comic-accurate team
Image
The Marvel Cinematic Universe is back, and while it’s not like it ever really went away, the scores on the doors are praising Jake Schreier’s Thunderbolts* as one of the best MCU movies in years. Proving itself to be much more than just the MCU’s answer to the Suicide Squad, this rag-tag team of rogues has put the hero in anti-hero while cementing themselves as a crucial part of the franchise’s future. While the big reveal that the likes of Florence Pugh and Sebastian Stan would be part of Avengers: Doomsday might’ve clad them in some vibranium-level plot armor, that didn’t take the fun out of Thunderbolts*.

We weren’t exactly surprised to learn that Olga Kurylenko’s Taskmaster was the sole casualty of Thunderbolts*, but moving forward, there are questions about what’s next for the Thunderbolts? The movie’s mysterious title was...

If you loved Seth Rogen‘s satirical comedy series about Hollywood on Apple TV+, then rejoice as the Apple-owned streaming service has just renewed The Studio for Season 2, and that too before it even completes its first season on air.

Created by Rogen, Evan Goldberg, Peter Huyck, Alex Gregory, and Frida Perez, The Studio is set in Hollywood and revolves around a hapless film producer named Matt Remick, who becomes the newly appointed head of a major studio. Now Matt must make hard decisions and hurt some people’s feelings to secure the bottom line, but that doesn’t exactly fit with his flimsy personality.

The Studio stars Seth Rogen, Catherine O’Hara, Ike Barinholtz, Chase Sui Wonders, and Kathryn Hahn but it does have boat loads of cameos from major celebrities including Martin Scorsese, Anthony Mackie, Zoe Kravitz,...

Zack Snyder Makes a Surprise Cameo on ‘The Studio’ and Jokes About the Snyder Cut
Image
The Apple TV+ series The Studio is known for featuring big-name filmmakers playing themselves. So far, the show has seen cameos from directors like Martin Scorsese (Flowers of the Killer Moon), Ron Howard (A Beautiful Mind), Olivia Wilde (Don’t Worry Darling), Parker Finn (Smile), and Nicholas Stoller (Neighbors).

They all interact with Matt Remick (played by Seth Rogen), the new head of the fictional Continental Studios.

However, one of the latest episodes surprised fans with a cameo from none other than Zack Snyder. Unlike the other filmmakers, Snyder appears outside the studio setting. In episode 8, titled “The Golden Globes,” he shows up during a star-filled segment. The episode also features Adam Scott (Severance), Quinta Brunson (Abbott Elementary), Jean Smart (Hacks), Aaron Sorkin (The West Wing), Ramy Youssef (#1 Happy Family USA), and Netflix co-ceo Ted Sarandos.

The plot follows Matt’s attempt to get Zoë Kravitz, the actress and director of Blink Twice,...

Alan Cumming Teases Potential Pedro Pascal Fight Scene in ‘Avengers: Doomsday’
Image
Could Alan Cumming’s Nightcrawler and Pedro Pascal‘s Mister Fantastic be having a showdown in Avengers: Doomsday?

While details surrounding the Phase Six installment of the Marvel Cinematic Universe are being kept under wraps, that didn’t stop The Traitors host from seemingly accidentally teasing some potential action in the upcoming film.

“I was learning stunts yesterday for some fight scene and I just think, I’m 60 years old. Twenty-three years ago, I played that superhero,” Cumming said in a video interview with Buzzfeed UK. “I was kind of old for a superhero even then. And now I’m back doing it. And that, to me, is hilarious.”

He continued, “I’m sort of learning these fights and I’m like, ‘What? Who am I fighting with?’ And they said, ‘You’re hitting Pedro Pascal against the head,’ or something.”

The Avengers Multiverse Sequel With Ultron You Probably Didn't Know Existed
Image
Remember Ultron? The AI Frankenstein's monster birthed by Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) and Bruce Banner (Mark Ruffalo) was the frighteningly powerful nemesis of the Marvel Cinematic Universe's second Avengers movie, but once his primary body was eliminated by Vision (in a surprisingly moving scene), he ceased to be a factor in the superhero franchise. 10 years after the release of "Avengers: Age of Ultron," the character has been completely Mia in the movies and TV spinoffs. Yes, he's due to return in next year's Disney+ series "Vision Quest," but that's an awfully long time to put a fascinating, once-titular villain on ice.

Though it's not officially canon, Ultron has actually been a tangential part of the studio's muddled Multiverse saga for nearly three years now. And if you've spent a few days aboard the Disney Wish cruise ship, you've almost certainly gotten reacquainted with the AI baddie via the dinner theater-esque "Avengers: Quantum Encounter.

Alan Cumming
Alan Cumming’s Offhand Remark Fuels Avengers: Doomsday Speculation
Alan Cumming
Alan Cumming’s return to Marvel’s cinematic lineup has already created a stir, but it’s an offhand comment during a recent interview that may have ignited a new round of speculation about Avengers: Doomsday. During a promotional conversation with BuzzFeed UK, the actor, known for portraying Nightcrawler in 2003’s X2: X-Men United, shared an anecdote that has led many to believe a key scene in the upcoming film may involve a direct clash with Pedro Pascal’s Mister Fantastic.

Marvel Studios has remained characteristically silent on the storyline of Avengers: Doomsday, which is set to release on May 1, 2026. However, Cumming’s remark—delivered with a casual tone—implied that his character might be involved in an action sequence with Pascal’s Reed Richards. “I was learning stunts yesterday for some fight scene and I just think, I’m 60 years old. 23 years ago, I played that superhero,” Cumming said.

Alan Cumming Might Have Spoiled ‘Avengers: Doomsday’ Scene
Image
As Alan Cumming makes his long-overdue return to the X-Men, it appears he’s avoided the notoriously scary MCU media training.

The 3x Emmy winner might have recently let a detail slip about the upcoming Phase Six installment Avengers: Doomsday, which premieres May 1, 2026 in theaters, involving his reprised role Nightcrawler and Pedro Pascal‘s Mister Fantastic.

“I was learning stunts yesterday for some fight scene and I just think, I’m 60 years old. 23 years ago, I played that superhero,” he told Buzzfeed UK. “I was kind of old for a superhero even then. And now I’m back doing it. And that, to me, is hilarious.”

Cumming continued, “I’m sort of learning these fights and I’m like, ‘What? Who am I fighting with?’ And they said, ‘You’re hitting Pedro Pascal against the head,’ or something.”

Perhaps the Scottish actor was just speaking hypothetically. But with Nightcrawler’s...

Thunderbolts* Star Sebastian Stan Says He Fought Against Inclusion Of A Certain Scene: "This Is Silly"
Image
Though Marvel Studios' Thunderbolts* goes to some pretty dark places in its third act, the movie has its fair share of signature MCU humor, but the inclusion of one comedic moment in particular did not sit well with Sebastian Stan - at least, not at first.

Yes, as you probably already guessed, it's the Vibranium arm in the dishwasher scene.

While speaking to EW, Stan explained that he just didn't find Bucky Barnes sticking his arm in the dishwasher after dripping mustard on it to be a particularly amusing sight gag.

"I immediately said to Jake, 'I don't understand why this is funny. You do not need this. This is silly,'" Stan tells the site. "But Jake was like, 'But maybe you could be eating something and then it can just go everywhere.' And I go, 'Really? That's what's going to [happen]?'"

As silly as it may seem,...

Seth Rogen in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem (2023)
The Studio renewed for season 2
Seth Rogen in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem (2023)
Seth Rogen’s beleaguered Hollywood exec will return as AppleTV+ renews The Studio. More on season 2 below.

Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg set out to parody modern Hollywood while also bathing in pure movie magic with The Studio, AppleTV+’s ambitious comedy series that premiered in March. The comedy has been well received: Simon Brew was enthusiastic about the series in his review.

AppleTV+ has now renewed Rogen and Goldberg’s show for season 2, as reported by Variety. The news comes just as the first run’s final episode becomes available on the streaming platform.

If you’re unfamiliar with the series, it follows Rogen’s Matt Remick, who becomes the head of Continental Studios and tries to balance his love for art with commercial movie making. The Studio also uses one-shot takes for most of its scenes and includes a lot of Rogen and Goldberg’s signature humour. It’s a hoot.

New Avengers set video 'confirms' return of dead Marvel legend
Image
Marvel Studios is busy thrilling audiences with Thunderbolts* in front of the camera, but behind-the-scenes it has already begun preparations for Avengers: Doomsday. You don't have to be a devoted superhero fan to know that the Avengers movies are the centerpieces of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, so there is a lot of anticipation for the upcoming marquee event. And to say that audiences are ready for what the MCU has in store would be the understatement of the century.

Taking place after the events of Thunderbolts* and the upcoming The Fantastic Four: First Steps, Avengers: Doomsday looks to bring back MCU veteran Robert Downey Jr. but this time as the franchise's new villain Doctor Doom. The movie is set to bring about an end to the Multiverse Saga, as all of the factions of heroes within the MCU will unite to save the multiverse from Doom itself.

The New Avengers Pushes Marvel Audiences Outside Their Comfort Zone
Image
[This story contains spoilers for Thunderbolts*]

Director Jake Schreier‘s Thunderbolts* caught many audiences by surprise this weekend. Not only in terms of what’s behind the name, which I’ll get to, but its lack of conventionality. The Marvel Studios movie proved to be a hit with critics who have been less forgiving of certain Marvel-isms of late. The positive reception feels like a legitimate game-changer for the MCU going forward. And not in the conventional way of box office records or audiences doing flips and screaming themselves hoarse in theaters. It’s a quieter, more profound and arguably more important kind of game-changer that once again shows that Marvel Studios is at its best when it leans on underdogs and defies expectations.

The cycle of proclamations claiming, “Marvel is over!” followed by, “Marvel is back!” has grown tiresome because neither is true. Marvel is simply here, a constant that, like all long-running franchises,...

Anthony Mackie Is Frozen Solid in New ‘Avengers: Doomsday’ Set Video
Image
After the casting stunt that had millions of people staring at chairs for more than five hours, Avengers: Doomsday officially began production not long ago. There are many names from all Phases of the MCU confirmed to star in the film, one of which is Anthony Mackie, who starred in Captain America: Brave New World earlier this year. Mackie cemented himself as the new leader of The Avengers going forward, so it stands to reason he’ll be heavily involved with Doomsday’s production. Mackie took to his personal Instagram to share a new video from the set of Avengers: Doomsday, showing himself in the snow in a cold location, which could potentially mean Latveria scenes are being filmed for the upcoming tentpole.

Latveria is a fictional country that’s home to Doctor Doom in Marvel Comics, and with Doom set to be the feature villain of the 2026 Avengers film,...

Marvel Retitles Thunderbolts as The New Avengers After Debut
Wyatt Russell, David Harbour, Olga Kurylenko, Sebastian Stan, Hannah John-Kamen, and Florence Pugh in Thunderbolts* (2025)
Marvel Studios has officially begun promoting its latest theatrical release, Thunderbolts — now retitled The New Avengers — following a post-credits scene that introduced the team’s new name. The updated marketing began shortly after the film opened in theaters on May 2.

Sebastian Stan, who portrays Bucky Barnes in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, appears in a new video released by Marvel replacing a Thunderbolts poster with a revised The New Avengers version at a Los Angeles bus stop. Dressed in black, Stan mirrors his character’s usual costume as he attaches the new poster with visible strips of tape.

Another video shared by the studio features Florence Pugh, in her role as Yelena Belova, tearing off a poster’s surface to reveal The New Avengers underneath. She is joined by castmates including Olga Kurylenko, David Harbour, Hannah John-Kamen, Wyatt Russell, Geraldine Viswanathan, Lewis Pullman, and Julia Louis-Dreyfus. The video appears to have...

Daredevil Star Charlie Cox Breaks His Silence On Not Being Included In Avengers: Doomsday Cast Reveal
Image
Marvel Studios delivered plenty of exciting surprises during the Avengers: Doomsday cast reveal, including the return of some familiar faces from 20th Century Fox's X-Men franchise. There were some huge omissions, though, and even with production underway, it feels like this ensemble is far from complete.

While Kevin Feige has confirmed it wasn't the full cast, one of the most disappointing omissions was Daredevil: Born Again star Charlie Cox.

Talking to Collider, the actor was asked about not getting a chair and replied, "It’s not there, is it? [Laughs] Listen, the way that information gets to us is the same way that it gets to everyone else normally. At least historically, that's been the case. Someone sent me the link. I looked for my name. It's not there. So, maybe one day [Laughs]."

It's a real shame that Cox won't be given the chance to assemble alongside the rest of Earth's Mightiest Heroes,...

Wyatt Russell, David Harbour, Olga Kurylenko, Sebastian Stan, Hannah John-Kamen, and Florence Pugh in Thunderbolts* (2025)
Spoiler warning: This post will contain text and an image that spoils a key moment of Marvel’s Thunderbolts*!

Even though Avengers: Doomsday has officially begun production, Victor von Doom himself, Robert Downey Jr. and some fellow cast members took time out of their schedule to catch the latest MCU installment, Thunderbolts*, showing their support while also passing the torch (not the human kind).

Rdj recently posted on his Instagram a picture from a private screening of Thunderbolts* that he, Chris Hemsworth (Thor), Channing Tatum (Gambit), Simu Liu (Xu Shang-Chi), Paul Rudd (Ant-Man), Winston Duke (M’Baku), and Anthony Mackie (Captain America) sat down for. Another image shows that group joined by Ebon Moss-Bachrach (The Thing) and Vanessa Kirby (Invisible Woman). He captioned his post, “Just wow!!! Dinner and a show with the Old Avengers. So cool, fresh, and deep. Big congrats.”

“Maybe One Day”: Charlie Cox Addresses His Missing ‘Avengers: Doomsday’ Casting Chair [Exclusive]
Image
The first season of Daredevil: Born Again has already come and gone, but we’re far from done with Charlie Cox as Matt Murdock. After playing the character in the Netflix Daredevil series and suiting up in other MCU projects such as She-Hulk: Attorney at Law and Echo, Cox will be back once again next year in Daredevil: Born Again Season 2.However, fans remain hopeful that this won’t be the only 2026 Marvel project to feature Cox’s Daredevil.

Although not given a chair as part of the Avengers: Doomsday casting announcement, it’s still impossible to rule out Cox appearing as Daredevil, especially considering other stars like Benedict Cumberbatch, who has already confirmed his role in the film, didn’t get one either. Collider’s Tania Hussain recently sat down with Cox for an in-depth profile, and she asked where his chair was and why we didn...

Marvel Director Confirms Whether Bucky Is Still A Congressman After Thunderbolts
Image
This article contains spoilers for "Thunderbolts*."

"Thunderbolts*" is an emotional gut punch that does wonders to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, especially since it comes so soon after the lackluster and forgettable "Captain America: Brave New World." Despite their noticeable differences in quality, the two movies do share at least one throughline: The surprisingly rapid political rise of one Bucky Barnes (Sebastian Stan). In "Brave New World," we learned that the former Winter Soldier is trying to leverage his world-saving fame into a career as a congressman. Come "Thunderbolts*," viewers discover that Bucky's election bid was actually successful and he finds himself walking in the halls of power -- admittedly frustrated and slightly out of his depth, but still.

Before long, Bucky ends up grabbing his trusty "Captain America: The Winter Soldier"-era magnetic grenade launcher and jumping back in action. He joins forces with Yelena Belova (Florence Pugh), U.S.

Rumor: Avengers: Doomsday Currently Shooting A Fight Scene Between Doctor Doom And [Spoiler]
Image
Cameras are now rolling on Avengers: Doomsday, and while we have yet to see any revealing set photos, a recent report claimed that scenes are being filmed at "an under-attack" X-Mansion.

Now, scooper Mttsh is reporting that a fight scene involving Doctor Doom (Robert Downey Jr.) facing off against Magneto (Sir Ian McKellen) is currently being shot.

These characters have crossed paths a number of times in the comics, and while a few harsh words have been spoken, they usually regard each other with a sense of mutual respect. Magneto is an incredibly powerful mutant, and one might assume his ability to control metal would give him an advantage over the fully armoured Doom. However, the Fantastic Four villain's mastery of various magical arts would likely make things very difficult for Mags.

Unfortunately, security has been very tight around the set, so we may not get to see any of the actors filming their scenes.

Marvel Changes ‘Thunderbolts*’ Posters to Replace Movie Title With ‘The New Avengers’ — but It’s a Spoiler for the Movie’s Big Reveal
Image
Spoiler Alert: This article contains major spoilers for “Thunderbolts*,” now playing in theaters.

Marvel Studios is wasting no time spoiling the ending of its new summer tentpole “Thunderbolts*.” A giant billboard in Los Angeles promoting the Marvel movie got a massive facelift during the end of the film’s opening weekend as the title changed from “Thunderbolts*” to “*The New Avengers.” The studio then posted a video of the film’s cast ripping the “Thunderbolts*” title off the poster to reveal “The New Avengers.” The poster on ticketing websites like Fandango has also changed to read “The New Avengers.”

Marvel fans had long been wondering why the official “Thunderbolts*” title included an asterisk. The answer is revealed in the third act of the movie, when Valentina Allegra de Fontaine (Julia Louis-Dreyfus) announces the group’s name is the New Avengers. The team includes Yelena Belova (Florence Pugh), Bucky Barnes (Sebastian Stan...

‘Thunderbolts* Real Title Confirmed as Marvel Amps Up Marketing After Impressive Opening Box Office Haul
Image
This article contains spoilers for the Thunderbolts* ending and post-credit scene.

The newest MCU movie is now playing in theaters everywhere, and after opening up the year with the divisive Captain America: Brave New World, Marvel seems to have returned to form with another hit. Thunderbolts* hit screens around the world this weekend, and after earning strong scores of 88% from critics and 94% from audiences on Rotten Tomatoes, it also collected $162 million globally in its first few days. Fans have been dissecting what the asterisk in the title means for Thunderbolts* for months, but the ending of the film, coupled with the post-credit scene, revealed the title’s true nature.

The Thunderbolts* team got its name from Yelena’s (Florence Pugh) former soccer team, but it’s not until the end of the film that Valentina Allegra de Fontaine (Julia Louis-Dreyfus) announces them as the New Avengers. This title change kicks in after the post-credit scene,...

Image
Warning: This story contains scads of spoilers for Thunderbolts. Proceed at your peril.

Here's a major Thunderbolts spoiler alert: We find out what the asterisk stands for.

That's not the only revelation from this weekend's would-be blockbuster, but it's a biggie (more on that below). The latest installment in the Marvel Cinematic Universe brings together a reluctant crew of misfits, antiheroes, and castoffs from prior films — Yelena Belova (Florence Pugh), Bucky Barnes/The Winter Soldier (Sebastian Stan), Alexei Shostakov/Red Guardian (David Habour), John Walker/U.S. Agent (Wyatt Russell), Ghost (Hannah John-Kamen), and Taskmaster (Olga Kurylenko) — to stop a seemingly all-powerful supervillain. There's also Bob.

Who's Bob?

Does this even count as a question at this point? The mysterious character played by Lewis Pullman, identified as only Bob in the trailer and other promotion materials,...

'Avengers: Doomsday' Directors Confirm Their Involvement in 'Thunderbolts*' Post-Credits Scene
Image
Marvel’s Thunderbolts* is packed with character drama, a touch of depression, world-altering stakes, and a heavy dose of black-ops intensity, but the biggest moment comes after the credits roll. And now, we finally know who’s responsible for delivering that crowd-pleasing post-credits stinger: the Avengers: Doomsday directors themselves — Joe and Anthony Russo.

While Thunderbolts was directed by Jake Schreier, he’s clarified that the post-credits sequence wasn’t actually his doing. In an interview with Collider, Schreier explained:"That got filmed a month ago. I was there. I did not direct it.That comes from the set of a movie that is going into production right now."

That “production,” of course, is Avengers: Doomsday — the next major crossover event in the MCU. It’s now confirmed that the Russo Brothers returned to Marvel to shoot the tag, an official end to the years of speculation about whether they’d...

“I want her dead even more after Thunderbolts*”: Julia Louis-Dreyfus’ Val Is No Thanos and May Be That’s What Marvel Needs Right Now
Image
Julia Louis-Dreyfus’ Valentina Allegra de Fontaine is one of the primary highlights of the Thunderbolts* movie. The character, introduced in The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, finally gets her moment to shine in the latest MCU feature after playing a series of cameos in numerous MCU projects.

Initially portrayed as a more complicated and darker version of Nick Fury, Val’s story was ultimately played quite differently in Thunderbolts*. The sassy attitude with the tinge of humor and pathetic desperation forced the fans to hate her. Although she is not a monstrous presence like Thanos, her power-hungry attitude makes her one of the most hated people the the current MCU.

Spoiler Alert !!!Spoilers for Thunderbolts* Ahead! Is Julia Louis-Dreyfus’ Val the perfect antagonist for the present MCU? Julia Louis-Dreyfus as Valentina Allegra de Fontaine in Thunderbolts* | Credits: Marvel Studios

On Henry Cavill’s 42nd Birthday, You Should Watch Him Play a Jerk in a Blonde Wig in This Movie From 2007, Stardust
Image
Many fans would’ve forgotten that Daredevil and Superman acted together in a 2007 romantic fantasy film. A young Henry Cavill wore a blonde wig and played the pompous jerk Humphrey in Stardust, a movie starring Charlie Cox. The film is based on a story by Neil Gaiman, with Argylle director Matthew Vaughn helming it.

It is no wonder that you don’t remember seeing him in the film, because his role was relatively small and the film had a star-studded cast. However, Cavill’s breakout role came after this film in the medieval series, The Tudors. His role in Man of Steel in 2013 would earn him international recognition.

The Marvel vs. DC debate has sparked countless arguments among fans, but it gets even more interesting when a celebrity jumps into the conversation. The same happened in 2015 as well when Anthony Mackie surprised a lot of people with his sharp remarks on Man of Steel.

While the movie brought Henry Cavill’s Superman to life, for Mackie, watching the movie past the initial 20 minutes was a tough task. In an interview, he didn’t mince his words when he detailed his dislike for the movie – and let’s just say he didn’t exactly hold back.

Throughout the years, Marvel has built a strong reputation for bringing forth some of the most exciting post-credits scenes out there. Such teasers often hint at what’s coming next or leave fans with something fun to talk about. And while such sequences have become a key part of the Marvel experience, sometimes not everything goes according to schedule.

The same happened with the recently released Thunderbolts* as well. While fans assumed everything was wrapped up well ahead of time, the movie’s post-credits scene came together in a very unexpected way – and much later than anyone would think.

Ranking Every MCU Multiverse Saga Movie According To Rotten Tomatoes (Including Thunderbolts*)
Image
Love or hate it, Rotten Tomatoes remains incredibly important when it comes to whether moviegoers decide to check out the latest releases in theaters. These days, it's not uncommon for studios to tout scores as proudly as star ratings.

While the Marvel Cinematic Universe has delivered hit after hit since Iron Man was released in 2008, the Multiverse Saga has proven not even Marvel Studios is immune from the wrath of critics. That's apparent from this Saga delivering not one, not two, but three "Rotten" movies.

Is the Multiverse Saga really as bad as some would have you believe? It's been a tad inconsistent, yes, but how does this era of storytelling stack up in terms of those all-important percentage scores on Rotten Tomatoes? Captain America: Brave New World didn't fare too well, but Thunderbolts*, in contrast, is being hailed as a return to form for Marvel Studios.

As a result,...
