Ashley H. White is an award-winning theatre director, fight & intimacy director, and teaching artist. She was the first-ever Intimacy Director hired at the Tony Award-winning Dallas Theater Center and works frequently regionally.
Ashley is the Artistic Director of the award-winning Imprint Theatreworks, coined "Dallas' Hottest New Theatre Company" by Broadway World. Under her leadership, Imprint garnered major praise for its 2018 Season, including 12 DFW Theater Critics Forum Awards and a staggering 40 column award nominations. The 2019 Season has followed suit, with 5 DFW Theater Critics Forum Awards so far.
She has been recognized for her work, most recently winning an outstanding direction award from the 2019 DFW Theatre Critics Forum. In 2018, she won three outstanding direction awards as well as a design contribution award for outstanding fight & intimacy direction from the DFW Theater Critics Forum. She was featured on 2018 year-end best lists for TheaterJones, Culture Map, and the Dallas Voice.
Ashley has been a featured artist on KERA's Art + Seek, Arts and Culture Texas, TheaterJones, The Dallas Morning News, White Rock Weekly, and more.
