The streamer has acquired rights to the seven-ep series, which is from Spanish broadcaster Atresmedia TV and created by director Dani de la Orden (Casa en Flames). It will debut on Apple TV+ globally on Wednesday, February 5, 20205, with two episodes, followed by new ones each week until March 12.

Three weeks after we saw a teaser trailer for the film and two and half weeks before it will be released through the Netflix streaming service, a full trailer for Bird Box Barcelona – which is set in the world of the apocalyptic horror thriller Bird Box – had arrived online, and you can check it out in the embed above. A brand new international spinoff movie set in the world of 2018 hit Bird Box, Bird Box Barcelona will premiere on July 14, and Netflix has debuted the official trailer today.

This first spinoff movie will be a Spanish-language thriller set in Barcelona. The Occupant and The Head filmmakers Alex and David Pastor wrote and directed the film.

In the spinoff, “After a mysterious force decimates the world’s population by causing all who see it to take their lives, Sebastian and his young daughter Anna must navigate their own journey of survival through the desolate streets of Barcelona. But as they form an uneasy alliance with other survivors and make their way toward a safe haven, a threat more sinister than the unseen creatures grows.”

Several years after Netflix announced that Pedro Alonso's Berlín would be getting his own Money Heist spinoff, details about the Money Heist's Berlín cast and a potential release have been unveiled. The much-awaited prequel to Netflix’s hit show Money Heist, Berlin, has just released its trailer at Tudum global event in Brazil. The clip has set the world of international television abuzz with anticipation. Berlin has been creating waves ever since its announcement, all thanks to what the original series La Casa de Papel (Money Heist’s native Spanish title) has achieved.

As the title suggests, the series is set to revolve around the character Berlin, portrayed by the enigmatic Pedro Alonso. Berlin, whose real name is Andrés de Fonollosa, was a fan-favorite character, and bringing him back to the small screen is something that has been eagerly awaited by fans all around the globe.

Berlin is not just a one-man show, as the prequel series boasts an ensemble cast that includes Michelle Jenner as Keila, Begoña Vargas as Cameron, Julio Peña as Roi, Tristán Ulloa as Damián, and Joel Sánchez as Bruce.

Money Heist was one of Netflix's biggest hits, so it makes sense that we're getting a spinoff with one of its most popular characters.

Netflix dropped the teaser trailer for Berlin during its Tudum global fan event, and it looks like a worthy next chapter for the franchise.

As previously reported, Berlin tells the tale of the titular character, but the streaming service has hinted in the past that "now is the time for Andrés de Fonollosa."

Based on the latest teaser alone, there will be plenty of action, comedy, and, most importantly, heists.

The second teaser trailer for Netflix’s Bird Box spinoff, Bird Box Barcelona, reveals much more of the terror the citizens of Barcelona are feeling as the creatures launch their attack. The premise remains the same as the original film – cover your eyes and never ever look at the creatures – but the setting switches to show how the world’s dealing with these bizarre beasts.

Bird Box starring Oscar winner Sandra Bullock premiered in December 2018, and the spinoff will debut on Netflix on July 14, 2023. Five years after the original "Bird Box" became an absolute sensation on Netflix, we're finally getting a follow-up. While it's not a proper sequel, it is more of a spin-off taking place elsewhere in the world. In this case, Spain, which is why the forthcoming movie is aptly titled "Bird Box Barcelona." That also has a nice alliterative ring to it. But that's about the only thing about this movie that looks nice, as it seems absolutely chaotic and tense.

This appears to be going with a very similar conceit as the original film, with survivors trying to avoid eye contact with the mysterious beings at the center of this disaster at all costs. Entertainment Weekly has debuted a brand new teaser trailer this morning, while also confirming that Bird Box Barcelona is not a prequel. Rather, the events of the film are unfolding at the very same time as the original Bird Box movie… in a very different part of the world.

Producer Dylan Clark tells EW, “The events that we see Malorie/Sandra Bullock endure in the original Bird Box are happening at the same time that Sebastian/Mario Casas is going through his journey. Being in Barcelona gave us a chance to see how surviving this intense threat in an iconic city poses different challenges.”
