Since the release of the 4-part documentary by Investigation Discovery – Quiet on Set: The Dark Side of Kids TV – many revelations have being made by Nickelodeon stars who worked under Schneider, as well as dialogue coach Brian Peck.

Miranda Cosgrove is an actress of the people and for the people. So when the former child star and co-stars Jerry Trainor and Nathan Kress were approached with the idea of reviving Nickelodeon's iCarly, she wanted to make it for the fans who first watched the show in the 'aughts. "They're the people that loved the show originally and they're really who this is for," Miranda told Variety June 28. "So that really gave us a lot of direction after we realized that we were all on board and wanted to do that." But making an adult version of iCarly wouldn't have been possible without the support of Paramount+. Miranda compared the revival to...

Paramount+’s “iCarly” revival may be another oft-touted example of repackaged IP for these nostalgia-driven times. But stars Miranda Cosgrove and Nathan Kress see it as both an homage to the beloved Nickelodeon original and its fans, as well as an exercise in “realism” rather than plain fanfare.
“We’ve gone through our early to mid-20s, and we’re heading into our 30s and that’s freaky,” Kress, who plays Freddie, told TheWrap. “We’re able to use that as a basis for realism in this entire show, and I think, fortunately, that’s what made it relatable to our audience because they were growing up right there with us. We weren’t just trying to stay in this box of, ‘We’re a kids show so we’re gonna stay forever youthful and naive and just happy all the time.’”

"iCarly" had a great six season run on Nickelodeon before concluding in 2012. Starring Miranda Cosgrove, Jennette McCurdy, Jerry Trainor, Nathan Kress, and more, this series was easily one of the most popular live-action shows on the network. Fortunately, the team (almost all) came back together for a revival on Paramount+ that debuted its first season in 2021. Though McCurdy sat out the reboot, Cosgrove, Kress, Trainor, and more came back to bring "iCarly" into a new decade. With season two starting April 8, it's tough to say if the "iCarly" revival series is coming to an end or if season three might be in the near future.
As of right now, the future of the "iCarly" revival series is uncertain. Season one of the show gave us a ton of nostalgia, especially since the main plot was all about Carly and the gang relaunching the web series they started as teens. While...

Carly and Freddie are becoming a thing, whether they like it or not. That’s but one takeaway from iCarly‘s Season 2 trailer, during which the longtime besties kiss to appease a group of overzealous fans. Including Freddie’s mom.
Premiering on Friday, April 8, the revival’s 10-episode second season finds the titular vlogger “refocusing her attention on her friends and family following her romantic complications, all while working to boost her revived web channel,” according to the Paramount+ release. “Spencer and Harper must also navigate new personal and career developments, while Freddie balances raising Millicent with a new app and a new girlfriend.

Peck and Miranda Cosgrove used to be co-stars on Nickelodeon’s “Drake & Josh,” before Cosgrove broke out as the star of the original “iCarly” series in the late 2000s. The new season of “iCarly” will be the first reunion for the two former Nickelodeon teen stars.
“Miranda is a good friend of mine, and when they announced the new ‘iCarly,’ we chatted about finding something fun for me to play,” Peck told People, who broke the news of his casting in December. “Being on the ‘iCarly’ set after all these years feels very full circle and I love getting to work with Miranda, Nathan [Kress] and Jerry [Trainor] again. I’m excited to...
