Chris Hemsworth and Halle Berry‘s heist movie Crime 101 has landed a high-profile release date in theaters.

Amazon MGM Studios will open the film Feb. 13, the beginning of the long Valentine’s Day and Presidents’ Day weekend.

Directed by Bart Layton, Crime 101 is based on author Don Winslow’s novella of the same name. The story follows detective Lou Lubesnick as he attempts to solve a string of multimillion-dollar jewel heists by tracking the perpetrator who follows a strict set of rules known as “Crime 101.” As the fates of the various characters converge, the line between hunter and hunted blurs. Layton wrote the adapted script.

Mark Ruffalo, Barry Keoghan, Monica Barbaro, Corey Hawkins, Tate Donovan, Devon Bostick, Jennifer Jason Leigh and Nick Nolte round out the cast.

Mann said today: “While working with Val on Heat I always marvelled at the range, the brilliant variability within the powerful current of Val’s possessing and expressing character. After so many years of Val battling disease and maintaining his spirit, this is tremendously sad news.”

This week is no different, as Variety reports this morning that former nanny and current SAG-AFTRA president Fran Drescher will join the cast, playing the mother to Timothée Chalamet’s titular ping pong player.

Oscar-winning actor Halle Berry lands her next leading role following her most recent appearance in the Lionsgate horror film, Never Let Go. The Hollywood A-lister joins Marvel Cinematic Universe stars in the upcoming Amazon MGM Studios thriller, Crime 101.

Per Deadline, Berry is set to join Crime 101 alongside Thor franchise star Chris Hemsworth and Avengers film series actor Mark Ruffalo, who recently replaced Pedro Pascal due to Pascal's scheduling conflicts. Berry's role in the film, which adapts Don Winslow's eponymous short story, remains undisclosed.

Exclusive: Oscar nominee Barry Keoghan has joined the cast of Netflix’s highly anticipated Peaky Blinders feature. The Banshees of Inisherin and Saltburn actor is the latest high-profile name set opposite star Cillian Murphy in the Tom Harper-directed film. Last year, a bidding war was going down between Netflix and Amazon for a lucrative package deal. The two streaming giants were in a fight to acquire the film rights to the novella by Don Winslow called Crime 101.
