Doug is from Rhode Island and is a fabulous entertainer himself and deserves any professional opportunity and recognition. I saw him perform when I was a child and he truly is so talented (acts, sings, dances AND writes)! He corresponded with Mary Tyler Moore on professional opportunities when he was college age. She corresponded with him and he went to work for MTM. Such an amazing choice to draft him to her team.
