While speaking with People, the director behind the cult classic shared that he's working on a follow-up film titled 10 Things I Hate About Datingalongside Andrew Lazar, who produced the 1999 movie. While the project is not officially greenlit yet, Junger revealed that he's co-writing the script with Naya Elle James, which will serve as the first of a new trilogy, completed by two more films titled 10 Things I Hate About Marriage and 10 Things I Hate About Kids. 10 Things I Hate About You director Gil Junger has revealed that an entirely new trilogy of follow-ups is in development.

According to a new report, we could be in line to get a whole slew of projects following up on the classic 1999 rom-com, 10 Things I Hate About You.

Loosely based on William Shakespeare’s play The Taming Of The Shrew about a warring would-be couple, the 1999 film starred Julia Stiles and the late Heath Ledger. It retooled the play’s basic set-up into a classic American high school formula, with the teenage protagonists running afoul of each other at house parties, the football field and more, cleverly folding Shakespeare’s set-ups into genre conventions that we all know and love.

Gil Junger, the original film’s director, has revealed to People that over a quarter of a century later, the concept is being reimagined once more, with a trilogy being planned this time.

The release date for Practical Magic 2 has been revealed, alongside the movie's first teaser. The original 1998 movie Practical Magic focuses on the story of two witch sisters who have to face their small town's close-mindedness as they are threatened by a curse that says they may never find true love. The movie was led by Nicole Kidman and Sandra Bullock, with a supporting cast that included Dianne Wiest, Stockard Channing, Aidan Quinn, and Evan Rachel Wood. Practical Magic 2 was announced to be in development last year.

Now, Warner Bros. has announced a release date for Practical Magic, which is now slated for September 18, 2026. The announcement was coupled with the release of a short teaser for the sequel film.

The announcement was made today with a witchy and fun video on Warner Bros. social media. The highly anticipated sequel is an update to the 1998 film. The video is voice-only, narrated by Kidman and Bullock practically casting a spell, rhyming right into the release date of September 18, 2026.

Back in February, Kidman, who plays Gillian Owens, teased the movie at the Time's Women of the Year event in Los Angeles. She said the plans for the sequel were "moving ahead rapidly" but that "You can ask Sandy," for more details. "Sandy" being Bullock, who plays Sally Owens. Kidman teased that the sequel "just needs a little magic," to happen. If only we knew.

Praise Kier! Dichen Lachman is finally getting her time in the spotlight. Like so many other Australian actors that ultimately made the jump to Hollywood, Lachman cut her teeth on the perennial Aussie soap opera "Neighbors." Yet, despite having since become a prolific veteran of American television, she's been curiously wasted in blink-and-you'll-miss-them roles in tentpoles like "Jurassic World Dominion" and "Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes." Thankfully, that's not the case with "Severance," Dan Erickson's engrossingly trippy sci-fi series about modern corporations and their never-ending search for new ways to exploit their workers.

Speaking of the devil, the nefarious biotech giant Lumon Industries and its "severing" tech took on whole new shades of disturbing in "Severance" season 2, especially when it came to Lachman's character ... or, should we say, characters. As you may recall, the actor made her debut on the series as Ms.

The group finals are always a big moment. We get potential double eliminations, unless the panelists decide to save one of them, and a Battle Royale for one of the singers to stay on. This final was a little different, though. Instead of a double elimination as in more recent seasons, the show went back to its original routes and two would go through to the Final Six.

Ant, Coral, and Papparazzo sang their hearts out in an attempt to get through to the next stage to go up against the finalists of other groups. They sang a variety of Rat Pack songs, putting their own styles on the songs.

O’Day sang “Fever,” by Peggy Lee, for her regular performance. Later, Paparazzo became the first celebrity to move on to the “Lucky 6” finalists, while Ant and Coral battled it out for Group A’s other slot in a battle royale. As Ant, O’Day sang “My Way,” by Frank Sinatra, followed by Coral singing the same.

The film’s director, Stanzler, is known for her work in TV comedy and drama series, including Sex and the City, Parks and Recreation, Party Down, You’re the Worst, and For All Mankind.

Exclusive: Golden Globe and Emmy winners Henry Winkler (Barry) and Brian Cox (Succession) are set to star with Emma Roberts (We’re the Millers) and Golden Globe and Emmy nominee Evan Rachel Wood (Westworld) in comedy Old Pals, which will be directed by Emmy winner Wendey Stanzler (Sex And The City).

The decision from the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s office follows a four-year investigation into numerous allegations against Manson.
