- Originated the role of Zaphod Beeblebrox in the BBC4 radio version of "The Hitch Hiker's Guide To The Galaxy". He has said that, during the radio recordings, he envisioned Zaphod to be a long-haired blond beach-bum type, and he was surprised when the TV production gave him red hair and dark bushy eyebrows.
