The renowned Blue Jacket Fashion Show will continue to elevate prostate cancer awareness by hosting its first-ever Los Angeles (LA) Fashion Week event.

Founded by fashion designer Frederick Anderson, the Blue Jacket Fashion Show has hosted eight annual fashion shows in New York City. This year will mark the first West Coast show, kicking off LA Fashion Week at 6 pm, Wednesday, November 13th, 2024, at W Hollywood.

Alyssa Milano has paid tribute to her “Charmed” co-star Shannen Doherty, who died Saturday at age 53.

“It’s no secret that Shannen and I had a complicated relationship, but at its core was someone I deeply respected and was in awe of,” Milano said in a statement provided to Variety. “She was a talented actress, beloved by many and the world is less without her. My condolences to all who loved her.”

Milano and Doherty starred alongside Holly Marie Combs in “Charmed,” in which they played a trio of magical sisters from 1998 until 2001 when Doherty’s character, Prue Halliwell, was killed off in the Season 3 finale. The show would air its eighth and final season in 2006.

As Milano referenced in her statement, she and Doherty had a “complicated” off-screen relationship for years. In December 2023, Combs claimed that Milano got Doherty fired from “Charmed,” to which Milano responded in an Instagram...

Hgtv was planning on airing a new house-flipping show, Flip It Forward. However, following a revelation by Right Wing Watch that the proposed show’s hosts had a history of religious bigotry, stalking an abortion doctor and anti-gay activities like protesting pride celebrations. Hgtv has cancelled the show.

Let’s start with the good news. Despite rumors that Fox might give in to the powerful influence of producer Seth MacFarlane, Fox has decided to cancel the offensive, unfunny Dads. Unfortunately, there’s also bad news — the promising and endearing Enlisted (also the Chris Meloni sitcom Surviving Jack, which inspired strong feelings in few people). In worse news for comedy, the network also passed on two promising-sounding pilots, Dead Boss and Fatrick. Fatrick reunited Ray Ford with Don’t Trust the B—- in Apartment 23 creator Nahnatchka Kajhan. Dead Boss was a remake of a British comedy with Jane Krakowski and Amy Sedaris.

A major scandal hit Scandal this week. On Wednesday, May 7, Deadline reported that Columbus Short's Scandal character, Harrison Wright, would be recast following his departure. The entertainment publication reported receiving a press release, claiming that Eric West (World War Z) would be replacing Short, 31.  Showrunner Shonda Rhimes took to Twitter on Wednesday evening, to shoot down the rumors and call out Deadline for spreading the story.  "I've never heard of Eric West," Rhimes wrote. "Harrison is not being recast Ever. How about reporters Check Their Sources before [...]...

Now that Columbus Short has announced that he’s stepping away from his role on Shonda Rimes' Scandal, rumors are circulating that Eric West could be the one tapped to fill his shoes.

Eric West Replacing Columbus Short?

An insider told Uinterview exclusively that Rimes and company have been quick to replace Short and have selected West for the job. “Note to all,” a memo allegedly read from a Shondaland employee to members of the show’s cast and crew. “Eric West will be replacing Columbus.”

It’s uncertain as to whether West will take over Short’s role of Harrison Wright or if he will be playing an entirely new character in Olivia Pope’s (Kerry Washington) team of gladiators. Currently, the Gladiators only include Pope, Huck, Quinn and Abby.

Sometimes reshoots are for the better. That is definitely the case with World War Z. Movies.com has provided a complete breakdown of the film's original ending, and to say it's different is a bit of an understatement.

Apparently the pivotal point where the reshoots took over was the plane scene. In the original film:

The plane did not crash as it does in the theatrical version. Gerry (Pitt) and his Israeli comrade, Segen, land in Moscow, where his phone (the link to his wife, Karin, and family) was taken away and he was forced to join the Russian Army against the zombies. New blockbuster zombie flick 'World War Z' has managed to score an impressive opening weekend and notched up a huge $111+ million in box-office takings. So it comes as no surprise that the Max Brooks adaptation will be getting a sequel. Vice chairman Rob Moore over at Paramount Pictures has confirmed that the Summer hit will be sequelised just a few days after star and producer Brad Pitt hinted at the fact that more 'World War Z' could be on the way. Originally planned to be a trilogy the idea for such a vision was quickly halted after the various production problems that the movie faced but now the money is rolling in it looks like these plans could be bought back to the table. With World War Z scoring big at the box office, earning a very respectable $66 million in North America and $45.8 million from its first 25 foreign markets, Paramount is celebrating its victory by planning more!

THR reports that World War Z initially was envisioned as a trilogy, but those plans were shelved when the movie ran into trouble, requiring extensive reworking of the last act. Initially set to open in December 2012, the movie's release date was pushed back to June, prompting many in Hollywood to anticipate a blood bath. Given the bank the film is currently making, Paramount has revived plans for a sequel, proving yet again that the undead are truly unstoppable.

In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, World War Z star Brad Pitt seemed pretty optimistic regarding the possibility of more films based on the Max Brooks novel of the same name. The question is: What kind of talking will the box office do this weekend?

A new clip from World War Z has been released.

Brad Pitt stars in the adaptation of Max Brooks's apocalyptic novel, which follows a man racing against time to stop a zombie pandemic that has gripped the Earth.

The Killing actress Mireille Enos, James Badge Dale, Eric West, Matthew Fox and David Morse are among the supporting cast of the film, which underwent some third act rewrites after principal photography had already wrapped.

Damon Lindelof, who was brought in to rework key scenes, has described how Pitt enlisted him because he was "someone who is not burdened by all the history that this thing is inheriting".

Matthew Michael Carnahan (The Kingdom, State of Play) and Drew Goddard (The Cabin in the Woods) both worked on the version of the script that was filmed before Lindelof became involved.

World War Z book vs. movie (and World War Z poster above and Wwz trailer below) Written by Max Brooks (son of Mel Brooks and Anne Bancroft), the World War Z book, a mix of apocalyptic horror and sociopolitical satire, shows what happens to Planet Earth following a zombie pandemic, possibly to have begun in China. Set in various parts of the world, World War Z tracks humans’ attempts to prevent (or at least control) imminent Zombageddon. World War Z reviews Several World War Z reviews are in, and for the most part they have been hardly enthusiastic. Directed by Marc Forster and starring Brad Pitt (who also wears a producer’s hat in the film), World War Z has been a troubled production from the get-go: there were financing woes, the budget reportedly escalated from $125 million to $200 million, there were numerous rewrites and quite a bit of reshooting, in addition to a red-alert delay in the film’s release date. World War Z rejected by China censors? What will Paramount cut next? (Photo: Brad Pitt as a World War Z zombie-fighter) World War Z, the Brad Pitt movie about the (latest) upcoming zombie apocalypse, has received several early positive reviews in the United States, but has been less well liked — i.e., rejected — by the Chinese censorship board according to TheWrap, citing an unnamed source. If true, that’s bad news for the Marc Forster-directed Paramount release that not only cost a reported $200 million — not including marketing and distribution expenses — but also one that had already suffered a bit of self-imposed censorship for fear of hurting the delicate sensibilities of Chinese censors. Marc Forster’s “World War Z” is getting a lot of really good reviews from mainstream critics, which is a bit disconcerting because I rarely see eye-to-eye with “mainstream” critics, especially when it comes to horror movies. I am liking everything I’ve seen of Brad Pitt’s movie, though, and this music video for Muse’s “Isolated System” has tons of new “World War Z” footage to feast your eyeballs on, so get your eyeballs to feasting already. The latest World War Z TV spot doesn't include a ton of new footage, although we do see Gerry Lane (Brad Pitt) trying to lead his wife Karen (Mireille Enos) to safety, with the help of a road flare. What's interesting is their children are nowhere to be seen, which may mean they have fallen victim to this vicious horde of zombies. Marc Forster directs this adaptation of Max Brooks' novel, that shows how humanity tries to fight back when a worldwide zombie epidemic threatens the livelihood of planet Earth. This highly-anticipated undead thriller hits 2D and 3D theaters nationwide June 21.

Trading his suit of iron for civilian clothing, Robert Downey Jr filmed "The Judge" in Shelburne Falls, Massachusetts on Monday (June 3).

The "Iron Man" star sported a burgundy polo shirt, dark jeans, and black shoes as he carried a black satchel across his shoulder.

In the drama, a successful lawyer returns to his hometown for his mother's funeral only to discover that his estranged father, the town's judge, is suspected of murder.

Directed by David Dobkin, the movie also stars Vera Farmiga, Leighton Meester, Eric West, Vincent D'onofrio, Dax Shepard, and Robert Duvall.
