The next spinoff series set in the NCIS universe, NCIS: Tony & Ziva, has gotten an updated release window. First look photos for the Paramount+ series have also been unveiled.

Per Deadline, it's been announced that NCIS: Tony & Ziva will premiere on Paramount+ in Fall 2025. Consisting of 10 episodes, the NCIS offshoot will reunite fan favorite characters Tony Dinozzo (Michael Weatherly) and Cote de Pablo (Ziva David), following the pair on another continent with the series set in Europe. Isla Gie also stars as Tali, the couple's daughter. All three are featured in the first look photos, which can be viewed below.

Here’s a synopsis: Years later, Ziva was discovered alive, leading her to complete one final mission with NCIS before she was reunited with Tony and their daughter in Paris. Since then—and where we find them in NCIS: Tony & Ziva—Tony and Ziva have been raising their daughter, Tali, together. When Tony’s security company is attacked, they must go on the run across Europe, try to figure out who is after them and maybe even learn to trust each other again so they can finally have their unconventional happily ever after.

Tony and Ziva is the NCIS series that has fans most intrigued. NCIS: Sydney has done an excellent job of introducing new characters, and NCIS: Origins has managed to reignite fan interest in the past of a beloved veteran, but Tony and Ziva is a direct sequel to the flagship series.

It's an interesting proposition, especially since we haven't gotten to see Tony Dinozzo (Michael Weatherly) or Ziva David (Cote de Pablo) in action for over a decade. We're eager to catch up with them, and while NBC has been hesitant to issue a proper release date, we now have a window in which we can expect to see the spinoff.

NCIS hit a bit of a roadbump when it canceled its Hawai'i spinoff in 2024. The cancelation came right on the heels of NCIS: Los Angeles going off the air (tough run for LL Cool J) and seemed to suggest that the franchise was not as strong as fans may have been led to believe. This has proven not to be the case in the last 12 months.

NCIS has continued to thrive and in new and exciting ways. NCIS: Sydney has broadened the global reach of the franchise, Origins has provided fans with the first ever NCIS prequel series, and then we have Tony and Ziva to look forward to. Tony and Ziva will mark another first, a sequel series that is a direct continuation of characters we met in the flagship show.

Per TV Insider, fans can catch a glimpse of still shots from NCIS' upcoming episode, "Killer Instinct," which centers around a dinner party attended by Sean Murray's Special Agent McGee and his professional rival, newly named Deputy Director Gabriel Laroche, portrayed by Seamus Dever. The episode will also guest star Brooke Lyons as Laroche's wife, who will be making her NCIS debut when the episode premieres on April 14.

Executive Producer Steven D. Binder explained what fans can expect from McGee and Laroche's impending out-of-office interaction, promising that, "This isn't some secret underground concern that McGee has. It’ll be out in the open." Binder added, "We're going to have an episode [that]’s something like Guess Who's Coming to Dinner with McGee and Laroche and some of the family. So that'll be a fun episode to get them together.
