  • Trivia
Larry Watson was a famous custom car painter starting with doing custom pin-striping and later full custom paint-jobs. He started pin-striping when he was 16. Larry painted a lot of cars for Hollywood actors and that led to acting jobs. After 1967 he figured that he couldn't get any further with cars so he decided to sell his shop and get out of the business. He left the custom car scene in favor of a TV and movie acting career. Larry joined the Theater Actors Guild and started getting small non-speaking parts in many movies. He got a small part in "Ben Hur". This motivated him to go further with acting. He associated himself with actor and car builder Norm Grabowski. His big break came when he was introduced to Mike Conners of the TV series "Mannix".
