Stars: Emma Stone, Ryan Gosling, John Legend, Rosemarie DeWitt, Amiée Conn, Terry Walters, Thom Shelton, Callie Hernandez, Jessica Rothe, Sonoya Mizuno, J.K. Simmons, Jason Fuchs | Written and Directed by Damien Chazelle
The third film from Damien Chazelle, in what might be dubbed his “Jazz Trilogy”, La La Land eschews the New Wave immediacy of Guy and Madeline on a Park Bench and the psychological horror notes of Whiplash, and brings us a blast of Golden Age musical energy. La La Land arrives on a zephyr of hype; and while it’s not up to the standard of his previous feature, it has a certain charm of its own.
Except, it’s not really its own. Like The Artist before it, La La Land is an awards-friendly picture – proudly presented in “Cinemascope” – which is inextricably wedded to past glories. Yet I’m not sure its modern elements are entirely comfortable in the relationship.

Brothers & Sisters returns on September 26 with its fifth season premiere. We previously posted promo photos for this episode and now we have two sneak peeks below.
One Year After A Tragic Accident, The Walker Family Reunites, On The Fifth-season Premiere Of ABC’S “Brothers & Sisters”
“The Homecoming” – It’s been a year since the Walker family was torn apart by a tragic car accident, and in a very un-Walker like fashion, everyone has been avoiding everyone else. Truths and reality only start to set in when the family is forced to come together for Justin’s homecoming party: Nora tries to prepare for the party, but is not acting like the mother she used to be; Sarah is consumed with the Narrow Lake deal; Kevin has a new career as public defense attorney; Saul and Scotty are running their restaurant; and Kitty’s life has become a taboo subject for everyone.

Chicago – People who have been diagnosed with Asperger’s syndrome, which is on the autistic spectrum, are sometimes described as being “mind blind”. In other words, they often don’t understand what people are thinking.
Rose Byrne and Hugh Dancy star in the film “Adam” to help audiences to visualize the condition, learn how to deal with it and metaphorically highlight it as just one way to understand typical misunderstandings in relationships.
“Adam” was released on DVD on Feb. 2, 2010. “Adam” star Rose Byrne is being buzzed about now with her return to TV’s “Damages” with Glenn Close. HollywoodChicago.com sat down with Rose Byrne and Hugh Dancy in Chicago to discuss the film.
