Bob Swaim is a member of the Directors Guild of America, Writers Guild of America, Screen Actors Guild Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, European Film Academy, the French Académie des Arts et Techniques du Cinéma, and the Société des Auteurs et Compositeurs Dramatique.
Director, writer, producer for more than forty years, his films have been honored with awards from over thirty film festivals and international competitions including the French César Awards and the Berlinale's UNICEF Prize for Best Feature.
In 2007, Bob Swaim asked to re-organize and develop the International Department of EICAR, the International Film & Television school of Paris. Today the school is classed among the top five international private film academies.
For his contribution to the French film industry, the French Minister of Culture has named him Officier des Arts et des Lettres.
Bob Swaim is currently Director of the International Department EICAR and writing his next feature film.
