Then Wednesday (Oct. 18), Susan shared the exciting news that she is now “cancer free.”

Susan Sullivan, best known for her roles in soaps like Falcon Crest, A World Apart and Another World, recently opened up about her health revealing she was diagnosed with lung cancer.

The actress shared a post on X, the social media platform formerly known as Twitter, a photo in the hospital with tanks of oxygen.

Castle was a huge fan favorite, but by the time the show reached season 8, it seemed no one was happy.

There were rumors of infighting behind the scenes, which led to fewer and fewer scenes filmed between the two leads.

Then Castle’s lead and supporting actresses (Stana Katic and Tamala Jones) were shockingly fired weeks before Castle Season 8 ended!

Fans were outraged, so much so that they began sending coffee sleeves to ABC with messages such as #SaveCaskett and #CancelCastle. Coffee was a symbol of love and affection between the two characters throughout the series.

The show’s fans wanted the series canceled rather than have it go on without their favorite couple.

Technology is amazing, isn’t it? On Thursday’s “Last Man Standing,” Mike Baxter (Tim Allen) is trapped in their Vail, Colorado cabin, courtesy of what appears to be like 5 feet of snow. Thankfully, his FaceTime is functioning flawlessly amid the blizzard.

In TheWrap’s exclusive first look from this week’s episode, Baxter and his daughter Mandy (Molly McCook) are video-chatting the day before Bonnie (guest star Susan Sullivan) and Ed’s (Hector Elizondo) wedding.

Mike Baxter’s got a secret on Thursday’s “Last Man Standing,” the question is, can he keep it? Well, the very easy answer is, of course he can, because it will allow him to “torment” his dear wife Vanessa.

In TheWrap’s exclusive clip from “You’ve Got Male (or Female),” one of tonight’s two back-to-back episodes of the Fox sitcom, Mike’s (Tim Allen) daughter Kristen (Amanda Fuller), comes to his office to ask him to be in charge of her unborn baby’s gender reveal party because she believes he’s capable of keeping the big secret — and that her mother Vanessa (Nancy Travis) definitely is not.

Mike admits that while he wouldn’t normally plan a party, he will gladly be in charge of this one, since it’s going to eat up Vanessa when she finds out he knows the gender of their grandchild and she doesn’t.

The event took place at the Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts in Beverly Hills.

This year’s benefit recognized entertainment industry leader and showrunner Greg Berlanti and trailblazing director/writer/producer Ava DuVernay with the “Patron of the Artists Awards” which commends their commitment to championing the careers of countless performing artists. Legendary producer/writer Norman Lear presented the award to Berlanti and critically acclaimed actor David Oyelowo presented to DuVernay.

The “Artists Inspiration Awards” were given to performers who use their platform to advance humanitarian and philanthropic causes.

If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it, right? TVLine has an exclusive first look at Last Man Standing Season 8 — and the above promo teases the return of the same ol’ Mike Baxter.

As you can glimpse in the newly released footage, Mike is no more refined, informed or enlightened than he was before. He’s the same conservative family man that audiences have embraced for 152 episodes (and counting).
