HBO has a new poster up for their True Detective series starring Matthew McConaughey and Woody Harrelson. The show premieres on January 12th aqt 9:00 p.m., and stars McConaughey and Harrelson as Louisiana detectives Rust Cohle and Martin Hart, whose lives collide and entwine during a 17-year hunt for a killer, ranging from the original investigation of a bizarre murder in 1995 to the reopening of the case in 2012. Cary Fukunaga directs from the writing by Nic Pizzolatto, and both serve as executive producers alongside Scott Stevens and Steve Golin. Michelle Monaghan plays Hart’s wife, Maggie, struggling to keep her family together as the men in her life become locked in a cycle of violence and obsession.

Video conferencing technology has been around for years, but most of us still don't spend our days sitting in large rooms staring at virtual counterparts of our distant coworkers--we prefer confusing conference calls or plain old Skype instead. But today's partnership announcement from telecom leader Polycom and networking hardware company Juniper Networks hopes to make things run a lot smoother.
"We're of the same religion, with the same view of open collaboration," says Scott Stevens, vice president of technology at Juniper. "The way the industry is now, the left hand and the right hand don't talk.

As new reports appear that are painting Richard Heene as an "abusive" husband, comedienne Sunda Croonquist has a message to Mayumi: Get out!
