‘Predator: Killer of Killers’ Takes the Franchise to the Viking Era: Where (and When) Else Have Predators Gone?
Image
“Predator: Killer of Killers” arrives this summer on Hulu, the first animated film in the long-running franchise and one of two new “Predator” movies due out this year. “Killer of Killers” also finds the franchise headed to another era — actually, in this case, three.

The new animated film, directed by “Prey” filmmaker Dan Trachtenberg and set to release on June 6, 2025, will be an anthology story. In total, fans will get to experience a Predator story in the Viking era, feudal Japan, and WWII Europe, each with different heroes leading them. More details on that below.

But before we get there, let’s take stock of everywhere — and every time — the “Predator” franchise has been. It actually dates back pretty far.

Predator (1987) 20th Century Fox

The first “Predator” film, released back in 1987 — with the events of the film taking place the same year — stars Arnold Schwarzenegger as Dutch Schaefer, who is...

'Nobody 2' Reveals New Footage of Bob Odenkirk Action Sequel
Image
Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul star Bob Odenkirk returns, and brings his particular set of skills with him, in the highly anticipated action sequel Nobody 2. Directed by Timo Tjahjanto, the action thriller follow-up is all set to hit theaters on August 15, 2025. According to CinemaBlend's live blog, new footage from the movie was released, which goes something like this:

"Odenkirk is on vacation with his family, and Lindsey Buckingham's Holiday Road sets the pace for the whimsical violence as Odenkirk's Hutch fails at controlling his temper. His son is starting to have similar issues with the way he handles conflict, and the whole thing seems incredibly silly and incredibly fun."

Released back in 2021, the first Nobody was directed by Ilya Naishuller and written by Derek Kolstad. Starring Bob Odenkirk, Connie Nielsen, Aleksey Serebryakov, RZA, Christopher Lloyd and Michael Ironside, the movie transforms the Better Call Saul star...

Image
Never underestimate a funny man. That’s what audiences learned when Ilya Naishuller released his action-packed feature Nobody in 2021, which moved Bob Odenkirk out of his typical safe space of funny guy and reintroduced him as an action star. Today, during Universal’s presentation at CinemaCon, audiences got their first taste of the highly anticipated follow-up film that will crash into theaters later this year. Very much on par with the movie that kicked off what could easily become a franchise, Odenkirk’s Hutch Mansell is back in Nobody 2 and ready for more ass-kicking action.

At CinemaCon, we got an early look at the first trailer. Here's what we saw:

15 Most Underrated Supporting Characters in the Arrowverse
Image
The Arrowverse had many great superheroes who received unanimous and deserved praise, but some supporting characters went under the radar and deserved to be highlighted. Almost every Arrowverse show had a titular lead surrounded by a team made up of friends and family. The exception to the format is Legends of Tomorrow as it was an ensemble show which spread its focus throughout its rotating cast of characters.

The Arrowverse's supporting greats include the likes of Candice Patton's Iris West-Allen, Carlos Valdez's Cisco Ramon, Chyler Leigh's Alex Danvers, David Ramsey's John Diggle and Emily Bett Rickards' Felicity Smoak. They were all staples throughout their respective series' runs, but they weren't alone in supporting their lead superhero. Countless unsung heroes had important roles to play in their respective Arrowverse shows, and some were unfairly sidelined for bigger characters in the crossovers.

The Most Overlooked Punisher Movie Is Now Streaming for Free
Image
Frank Castle has always been a vicious vigilante, but he is at his most brutal in the 2008 film Punisher: War Zone. While the film went largely unwatched at the time of its release, it's now streaming for free 16 years later, providing Marvel fans who've never seen it an opportunity to check it out at no cost.

Currently, Punisher: War Zone is streaming on Pluto TV. A box office bomb, the film was not a big money-earner upon release. It grossed $10 million worldwide with a budget of around $35 million. Critics in 2008 were also not very kind with their reviews, and Punisher: War Zone has a Rotten Tomatoes score of 29%. Despite the disappointing reception, however, the film has since earned cult status with some fans considering it to be Marvel's most underrated movie ever.

Directed by Miller from a screenplay by Nico Lathouris and Miller, Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga follows the story of a young Furiosa as she is taken from Green Place of Many Mothers and tries to survive in the wasteland while trying to get back home but the war between great biker horde’s warlord Dementus and Immortan Joe makes it harder. Is Prey For The Devil 2 Happening? Everything We Know
Image
Prey for the Devil 2 is not confirmed yet, but with Daniel Stamm's history of making sequels, it's not impossible. Most characters from the original film, including Sister Ann, could come back for the sequel. While no story details have been revealed, Prey for the Devil 2 could pick up where the first film left off, with Sister Ann continuing her fight against evil.

Prey for the Devil 2 is the hoped-for follow-up to the 2022 supernatural horror film. The original was directed by German filmmaker Daniel Stamm in his fourth feature-length film, after his 2010 The Last Exorcism gained him some street cred in the picky world of horror. Prey for the Devil also features exorcisms as a key component of the story. In the film, a spike in global demonic possessions leads the Catholic Church to begin teaching more clergy how to perform exorcisms. One of these new students is Sister Ann...

Doctor Who: If Not Gallifrey, Where Is the Doctor From?
Image
First, apologies if this violates Den of Geek’s house style guidelines, but Lol. Lol at everyone who thought that Russell T Davies would return to Doctor Who as the avenging angel of ‘The Fans’, riding in and heroically retconning out all the plot points they had been complaining about for the last four years.

No, instead Davies has said...
