Juno Rinaldi (Ruddell) grew up on Salt Spring Island, on the West Coast of BC, Canada. The oldest of three and raised by an early educator mother and a composer writer father, Juno got her start working alongside her dad in National Film Board Films. From there she went on to star in multiple school plays solidifying her place in the arts early on. A grade 7 report card stated "a career in the performing arts for Juno would not be surprising at all."

In her senior year at Gulf Islands Secondary School, Juno garnered the attention of fellow local and celebrated Canadian Film Director, Anne Wheeler in a production of Peter Pan, as Wendy Darling. Anne was impressed with what she saw and Juno was invited to audition for her upcoming feature, The War Between Us. With no formal training and very limited film experience, Juno won over the hearts of the producing team and network and beat out many young women for the role of Marg Parnum. Juno spent her first term of Grade 12 shooting on location in New Denver, BC.

After graduating high school Juno went on to study at the prestigious theatre training program, Studio 58 at Langara College, graduating in 1999 with honors.

After graduating from theatre school Juno worked in theatre in Vancouver and across the country. Highlights include a cross Canada tour of Studies in Motion with The Electric Company Theatre, choreographed by world renowned choreographer Cystal Pite. Helena in Midsummer's Night Dream at the Caravan Farm Theatre in Armstrong B.C. , Motherload a personal collaboration piece with three other actor, writer, mother's about their personal experiences with motherhood and Stationary, a two hand-er staring and written by Juno and her real life husband Mike Rinaldi set entirely on two treadmills.

No stranger to collaboration and writing Juno, and her theatre colleagues continued to explore creation through many different avenues including forming a dark comedic theatre troupe called Theatre Melee. . Theatre Melee produced many hit shows during their time together and Juno counts this time as one of the highlights of her career.

While working in theatre in Vancouver BC and collaborating, writing and producing numerous indie shows, Juno continued to audition and book small roles in Film and TV as well. Her biggest role to date is playing the lovable mess on CBC/Netflix's hit show, Workin' Moms.

Juno's short film, Such a Small Thing which she wrote, produced and starred in has garnered multiple awards and now has a permanent Canadian home on CBC Gem.

In In the spring of 2019, Juno was invited to host the 2019 International Program Competition at the prestigious Banff World Media Festival. There she had the pleasure of not only hosting the awards, but was also a featured guest at the International Rockie Awards Gala show proudly presenting the Award of Excellence to Paul Feig (Freaks and Geeks, Bridesmaids, Spy).

Juno was named after the title character in the play by Sean O'Casey called, Juno and the Paycock. Her parents went and saw a local production when they were pregnant with her and fell in love with the character of Juno Boyle.

Juno is married to writer/actor, Michael Rinaldi and they share two sons together.
