Earl Rose
Composer/pianist Earl Rose is an Emmy Award winner and has received 14 Emmy nominations as well as three ASCAP Awards for being among the top five most performed composers in television. Classically trained, Earl graduated from the Mannes College Of Music in New York, majoring in piano and studying with Edith Oppens and Frances Dillon. He also studied abroad at the Vienna Academie Of Music and conducting at the Juilliard School under Emanuel Balaban.

Rose, who conducts and orchestrates his own scores, has been a frequent collaborator with Emmy winning director/writer/producer Peter Jones having most recently composed the theme and series music for Carson on TCM and scored his feature documentaries Johnny Carson:King Of Late Night for the American Masters PBS Series and the Peabody Award winning Inventing L.A.:The Chandlers and Their Times. He wrote the song arrangements for director Nicholas Hytner's The Object Of My Affection (20th Century Fox), original music for the film Gunshy, starring Diane Lane, and selected music for the film, Joe & Max, directed by Steve James.

His past television projects include the score for the HBO Special Hard Times for an American Girl: The Great Depression as well as being guest pianist performing with Elvis Costello, Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert on A Colbert Christmas: The Greatest Gift Of All. Earl has composed the score for over thirty hours of History Channel documentaries including The Presidents, Remember the Alamo, and his Emmy nominated score for Wake Island:Alamo Of The Pacific.
