- Animated the opening title sequences for Hanna-Barbera's first two prime-time series- "The Flintstones" (first season titles, with the "Rise and Shine" theme) and "Top Cat". He also animated the entire first-produced episode of "The Flintstones"- "The Swimming Pool" (aired as episode 3) as well as the pre-series "Flagstones" pilot. He was probably the studio's most prolific animator in its heyday of the late fifties and sixties.
- In an interview with Rolling Stone Magazine in 1972, stepdaughter Judee Sill, an aspiring singer-songwriter, referred to Muse as "mean, dumb, narrow-minded -- he used to beat dogs.".
