Directing (Breaking Chains) 2025
I was born and raised in Aurora, Colorado and I've never been one for half-measures. By the age of 15, I was an internationally ranked martial artist, setting the stage for a lifetime dedicated to discipline, precision, and pushing limits. At age 19, I joined the U.S. Marine Corps. There, I quickly distinguished myself by graduating as Platoon Honorman - only a select few to earn this title during Marine Corps Boot Camp. Stationed in Oahu, Hawaii, I deployed to the Persian Gulf in 1991 with FMF PAC CRC13, serving in Operation Desert Storm at the height of the conflict. Returning from the Gulf War, I was honored to join the elite Presidential Color Guard, where I had the privilege of standing in tribute during the historic 50th anniversary remembrance of the bombing of Pearl Harbor-an event that left an indelible mark on me, both as a Marine and as a witness to history. Every promotion I earned during my enlistment in the Marines was meritorious, reflecting my unwavering commitment to excellence. In 1993, I was named Marine of the Quarter and Marine of the Year, a testament to the dedication I brought to my service. When I left the Corps, I did so with the rank of Sergeant, carrying with me the discipline and tenacity that would define the next chapter of my life. I became a landed immigrant in Canada and started my film career in Vancouver. Although I now live in Alberta, my work has taken me far beyond Canadian borders. Since 1995, I have built a formidable career in the film industry. I have worked on over 125 feature film and television productions as a stunt performer, fight choreographer, stunt coordinator, second unit director and director. From Hollywood blockbusters to critically acclaimed productions, I have been the unseen force behind some of the most electrifying action sequences on screen-a craftsman of controlled chaos.
