- She has performed as the lead in many Australian theatre productions. Productions include "Master Builder", "Child Dancing", "Rebecca", "The Barber of Seville", "Vassa", "Twelfth Night", "A Midsummer Nights Dream", "The Governors Family" and "The White Devil". She played "Ophelia" (original cast) in Belvoir St's "Hamlet", directed by Neil Armfield. The cast included Geoffrey Rush and Richard Roxburgh; "Joan" in George Bernard Shaw's "Saint Joan", at the Sydney Opera House, directed by Gale Edwards. Her first theatre audition in the USA was successful and she was cast as "Rita" for the 2001 Williamstown Theatre Festival production of "Educating Rita", costarring Edward Herrmann and directed by Bruce Paltrow.
- (October 2002) Played "Dock Daisy" in "The Resistible Rise of Arturo Ui", a play by Bertolt Brecht (Michael Schimmel Center for the Arts, Pace University, New York City, New York, USA). This extraordinary production starred Al Pacino, Steve Buscemi, John Goodman, Paul Giamatti, Billy Crudup, Tony Randall, Chazz Palimentari, Charles Durning Linda Emond and Lothaire Bluteau.
- Directed by George Ogilvie, Jacqueline is to perform the title role of "Catherine" in David Auburn's "Proof", at the Sydney Opera House, 2003. Barry Otto will play Robert.
- "Proof", in which she starred with Barry Otto, broke all box office records for the Drama Theatre at the Sydney Opera House and was a huge critical success.
- Discovered painting whilst working on Human Touch (2004), with Paul Cox.
- (2011) Played the lead role of "Catherine Givings" in Sarah Ruhl's "In The Next Room or The Vibrator Play", at The Sydney Opera House for the Sydney Theatre Company. (January - July 2011)
- (2012) Playing "Olivia" in Laura Eason's "Sex With Strangers", for Sydney Theatre Company, directed by Jocelyn Moorhouse ("Proof", "How to Make an American Quilt").
- (2013) playing "Maggie" in Tennessee Williams' "Cat On A Hot Tin Roof" for Belvoir St. Theater, Sydney. Production directed by Simon Stone and co-starring Marshall Napier ("Big Daddy") and Ewen Leslie ("Brick").
- (August 2014) Playing "Liza" in Andrew Upton's adaptation of Maxim Gorky's "Children of the Sun" for the Sydney Theatre Company at The Sydney Opera House. Directed by Kip Williams, the production also stars Justine Clarke (I), Jay Laga'aia and Toby Truslove.
- (2015) Played title role of Orlando in Sarah Ruhl's adaptation of the Virginia Woolf novel "Orlando" for the Sydney Theatre Company at the Sydney Opera House.
- (2015) Costarred with Cate Blanchett and Richard Roxburgh in "The Present" directed by John Crowley. This was Andrew Upton's adaptation of Chekov's "Platonov" for the Sydney Theatre Company and is bound for Broadway in 2016.
