In 1997, she wrote her own cookbook: Soap Opera Cafe: the Skinny on
Food From a Daytime Star. She dedicated it to the person who helped her
realize she had a passion for cooking, her father, Paul Mattson.
When not performing, she enjoys skiing and ice skating as well as
gardening and decorating.
From June of 1996 until March of 1997, she had her own cooking show on
the Lifetime network called The Main Ingredient.
