Newly-formed sales company Vaneast Pictures, owned by Danielle Gasher, is launching sales in Cannes.

Written by Golden Martin, the film will be produced by Joseph Restaino and Tony Stopperan (“Amber Alert”) from Hungry Bull Productions alongside Martin and Golden.

Justin Long has set his next horror movie and it's about something all of us have probably feared at least once in our lives: lice. Simply titled Lice, the upcoming horror film is about a particularly nasty parasitic invasion.

Variety reports that the film will be the first feature produced by Kevin Connolly's ActionPark Productions with his partner Patrick Marino. It is being touted "as a horror mashup of The Breakfast Club and Lord of the Flies."

Long will be joined by Emile Hirsch (Into the Wild) and Connolly, best known for starring in the HBO series Entourage, will also star in the movie. Lice goes into production this week and will film in Canada. Based on the early description for the movie, it will be a fun throwback with plenty of references to the "'80s high school classics," but with plenty of scares thrown into the mix.

A parasitic invasion of lice is set to hit Long Island in an upcoming feature described as a horror mashup of “The Breakfast Club” and “Lord of the Flies.”

Simply entitled “Lice,” the feature marks the first from Kevin Connolly’s ActionPark Productions alongside partner Patrick Marino, and is set to star Emile Hirsch, Justin Long, and Connolly (“Entourage”) himself. The film — billed as a “gruesome throwback to ‘80s high school classics” — begins production this week in Canada.

Highland Film Group is repping international rights, handling sales at the Marché du Film.

Director/cinematographer Jonathan Bensimon makes his feature directorial debut with a script written by Anthony Musella and Shaun Harris (“The Hemingway Thief”), from an original concept by Connolly. The film is produced by Connolly, Jeremy Alter, and Gary Goldman, who recently collaborated on “Entourage” creator Doug Ellin’s “Ramble On,” which starred Charlie Sheen, Connolly and Kevin Dillon.

While CBS has unfortunately cancelled the second spin-off of The Neighborhood, which was to center on Malcolm (Sheaun McKinney) and Marty (Marcel Spears), Cedric the Entertainer comes bearing amazing news for die-hard fans of the brotherly duo. The series star confirmed via an interview with TV Line that the scrapped follow-up will be worked into Season 8 of The Neighborhood, meaning that the events of the Season 7 finale will not be ignored since it also served as the backdoor pilot for the spin-off.

As Hollywood continues to greenlight stories about iconic musicians — minus any unsavory details that could jeopardize acquiring the music rights — one high-profile musical biopic has proven to be surprisingly controversial, despite the fact that filming hasn’t even started yet.

It was recently announced that director Sam Mendes will be helming a film project about The Beatles. But in order to fully honor the legendary group (and boost ticket sales), he’s making four full-length movies, each focusing on one of the four band members: John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison and Ringo Starr. Pat Sajak fans are in luck because the Wheel of Fortune legend is returning to the franchise.

Since stepping away from his role as the Emmy award-winning host of Wheel of Fortune less than one year ago, Pat is returning to the iconic game show.

The 78-year-old game show icon is making his final run as the host of Celebrity Wheel of Fortune for Season 4.

Wheel of Fortune announced the exciting news on Instagram this week.

The Reel opened with the classic “Puzzle Reveal” soundbite as a puzzle in the “Event” category appeared in the background, reading, “CELEBR_ _ _ Wheel _ _ FORTU_ _ RETUR_ _.”

The Wheel of Fortune theme song played as Pat Sajak’s image appeared at the bottom of the video.

ABC has set dates for Pat Sajak’s final celebrity edition of Wheel of Fortune and the 2025 Jeopardy! Masters tournament.

Sajak’s final episodes on Celebrity Wheel of Fortune, which he co-hosts with Vanna White, will kick off Wednesday, April 30 at 8 pm. It will be followed by the 2025 Jeopardy! Masters tournament, hosted by Ken Jennings, at 9 pm. Both will premiere on ABC and stream next day on Hulu.

The Neighborhood is coming to an end: CBS has renewed the Cedric the Entertainer comedy for an eighth and final season.

“The brilliant cast and creative team at The Neighborhood led by the incomparable Cedric the Entertainer have brought levity, laughter and poignant storylines to Monday nights for seven incredible seasons,” CBS Entertainment president Amy Reisenbach said in a statement Monday. “The Neighborhood is a strong ratings performer for CBS and one of the top comedies on TV. We believe the show’s loyal fans deserve a proper farewell season full of the trademark humor and heartfelt moments that are synonymous with the series.

The 2010s was a pivotal time for animated movies. Some fun news for fans of Young and the Restless (Y&r) alum Hunter King. Deadline reports that she, along with Angelic Cabral, Kara Royster, and Justin Long will have guest appearances in CBS’s The Neighborhood for the show’s seventh and final season.

The report reveals that if the network decides to move forward with a spin-off for the 2025/26 season, King, as well as Cabral, Royster, and Long, will become show regulars for the new series.
