Marc Kudisch was born in Hackensack, New Jersey, and grew up in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, the second child of four (older brother, two sisters, all connected to the medical profession in some way). He graduated from Florida Atlantic University in 1989. He was engaged to Kristin Chenoweth for three years; the relationship ended in 2001.

Marc appeared as "TV Guy" in Toyota commercials, 1999-2000. He starred as Conrad Birdie in the national tour of "Bye Bye Birdie" in 1992, and reprised the role in the 1995 ABC TV movie remake. He has also starred on Broadway in "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat", as Gaston in "Beauty and the Beast" (1995-97), "High Society" (1998), 'The Scarlet Pimpernell" (1999), "The Wild Party" (2000) and as Jeff Moss in "Bells Are Ringing" (2001)..
