Florence Kaye was a New Yorker who in the 1940s hosted a radio show in Georgia and entertained the troops at the United States Organization Shows. By 1949 Florence had begun to write with writers like Lee Rebideau & Don Canton, songs like "Beware", "It Happened This Many Times Before", "See You Soon", "The Whistler Song". She later wrote a few songs for Elvis Presley with Bernie Baum and Bill Giant. They also wrote the English theme song for Osamu Tezuka's "Kimba the White Lion". Florence was the last survivor of her songwriting group.
