Nimesh had signed Ashok Gaikwad to direct a film with Jackie Shroff and had Jackie Shroff's dates blocked. Jackie heard the script and agreed. Manisha Koirala and Danny Denzongpa were also signed. The producer kept insisting that Karan Razdan write the script so they could shoot in Hong Kong. Then he changed his mind and wanted Nepal.But they realized Nepal didn't have the high tech facilities to shoot all the action scenes. Finally Nimesh Mehta and Karan Razdan had a falling out regarding the script and the film was shelved.

Had signed Financer's Raju Shah's film that was to be directed by Vivek Agnihotri. The film also co starred Vivek Oberoi. Nana Patekar and Bobby Deol was in talks for two other roles in the film. This was in 2005.

After Yalgaar, Feroz was toying around with several ideas for his next film. He wanted to remake his film Dharmatma as "Agnikund" with Anil Kapoor as the Godfather. Akshay Kumar and Sunil Shetty were to play his sons. Music was by Anu Malik. He earlier wanted to make a film titled " Yalgaar" with himself, Anil Kapoor ,Jackie Shroff, Sri Devi,Sonam,Anuradha Patel,Saeed Jaffery, Shakti Kapoor, Amjad Khan. The film was about a desperate mission of a group of commando's. A song was also recorded by Kalyanji Anandji on October 1986. The film was based on the Indian army. The film was written by Aziz Qaisi who also wrote the lyrics along with Indeevar. The song "Hain Dil Mein Lagan" was recorded for the film .The film was shelved so Feroz could direct Dayavan . Yalgaar was started again in June 1988. The star cast was now Feroz Khan, Vinod Khanna (Replaced Jackie Shroff), Anil Kapoor, Madhuri Dixit,Anuradha Patel, Shakti Kapoor,Amjad Khan, Saeed Jaffery, Paresh Rawal. But that film was shelved due to Anil Kapoor disagreeing when Feroz Khan dropped Jackie from the film. He later started Yalgaar with himself and Sanjay Dutt, but with a different subject and story line. The song "Hain Dil Mein Lagan" was used for the new Yalgaar . Anil Kapoor refused "Agnikund" in 1994 because he did not want to play father to Akshay Kumar and Sunil Shetty. Feroz Khan had sold the audio , the overseas video and theatrical rights To Venus for 2.4 crores. Feroz Khan shelved the idea once again when the casting did not work. Feroz Khan shelved the idea once again. Some how the story of Agnikund was leaked out and the film Sapoot was made in 1996.

Producer Satee Shourie had announced a big budget movie titled ' Krishna ' to star Dilip Kumar, Anil Kapoor,Dimple Kapadia,Amjad Khan and others, but ' Krishna ' was not made. The film was first announced in 1983 with Chandra Barot as the director.

Nandu Tolani and David Dhawan had launched a film titled "Joru Ka Ghulam" in 1994. Starring Anil Kapoor, Govinda and Tabu. The film got shelved due to constant problems between Anil and Govinda. Their other film Deewana Mastana was already seeing constant delays due to this.

After Rajput, Vijay Anand had planned a big budget film called "Dekha Jayega" with Anil Kapoor,Jackie Shroff,Juhi Chawla,Raveena Tandon. Anil caused major delays and backed out at the last hour causing the film to get shelved. Vijay Anand restarted it with Jackie Shroff and Saif Ali Khan in 1994. The film was once again shelved. Vijay Anand was upset over the entire experience.

In 1988, Sanjay Khan launched his most expensive film AAA Films " Surzameen". It was to star Vinod Khanna Anil Kapoor (Later Sanjay Khan stepped into the role), Meenakshi Sheshadri,Sonam, Anupam Kher,Amrish Puri, Dara Singh,Written by Dr. Masoom Raza,Music by Laxmikant Pyarelal. Mid way through the film Vinod Khanna stopped giving dates causing the film to run into delays. When the film started,Anil Kapoor also started creating problems when he started insisting he and Vinod Khanna switch roles. Anil felt Vinod had the better role.Anil kept insisting he play Vinod Khanna's role. Vinod was opposite Sonam. After all these production hassles, Sanjay finally shelved the film.Plus Sanjay Khan and Sonam had a huge argument on the sets causing Sonam to leave the film. Sanjay then started to concentrate on TV serials.
