  • Wrote many scripts that studios bought but weren't produced, including something called "To Have And To Hold".
  • To make money, living in Canada, he was a schoolteacher in the Arctic Circle. This led to one of his scripts taking place there, but it was never produced. However, the script impressed Howard Stern so much, Michael was hired to write Private Parts, which he ultimately became a co-writer since it went through several rewrites.
  • To prepare for writing the first draft of Howard Stern's Private Parts, he sat in on the show from June 6th to June 7th, 1994.
