The Fox fall 2025 schedule was announced today during the network’s Upfront Presentation at the Manhattan Center in New York. The network is adding six new series to its schedule, including a new one-hour comedy, a new dramatic thriller, an epic new scripted event series, and three new unscripted competition series, as well as the return of an Animation Domination favorite.

During a conference call to discuss Fox's 2025-26 schedule, Fox CEO Rob Wade explained why the reality juggernaut is sitting out the fall season for the first time since the show's January 2019 debut. The Masked Singer wrapped up its 13th season last week and will return with Season 14 in January 2026.

"People forget that The Masked Singer was the first show back during Covid," Wade noted, adding that the lengths to get that season on the air in September 2020 were "incredibly taxing for that crew and that cast." The Masked Singer has continued to air twice a year since then.

But now, Wade said, it's time to give the team "breathing space to regroup and get their breath back" before launching Season 14 midseason.

Weakest Link and Fear Factor have new homes.

Both shows, which previously aired on NBC, have been picked up to series by Fox. It comes ahead of the network’s upfronts presentation in New York.

They are joined by 99 To Beat, a U.S. remake of a Belgian format.

Weakest Link and 99 To Beat will air in the fall; the latter will air on Mondays at 9pm after Name That Tune, while gameshow 99 To Beat will air Wednesdays at 9pm after The Floor. Fear Factor has not been dated.

Weakest Link recently aired for three seasons on NBC starting in September 2020. It was hosted by Jane Lynch, who will host the show on Fox. The Fox version will be a celebrity edition with eight celebrities competing to win up to $1M for charity by answering questions and trying not to become the weakest link.

Fox revealed its 2025-2026 schedule Monday ahead of its upfront presentation to advertisers at the Manhattan Center in New York. Among the biggest highlights of the slate were the return of Fox-turned-TBS-now-Fox-again animated series “American Dad!,” as well as Jane Lynch’s “Weakest Link” (moving over from NBC) and a reboot of “Fear Factor.”

Fox will be starting the 2025-2026 season with six new series, including upcoming drama “Memory of a Killer,” a revival of “Fear Factor” as well as the return of “American Dad!” and the network’s Sunday night Animation Domination block.

The news was announced ahead of Fox’s upfront presentation on Monday. Fox also revealed that this past season it ranked No. 1 among broadcasters when it came to the targeted 18-to-49 demographic and that it was the only network among Fox, ABC, CBS and NBC to be up year-over-year in the demo.

Six seasons and a movie is all us Community fans have been asking for and wanting. We've got the six seasons, though we're still eagerly waiting for the reunion film that's sure to be a hit at Peacock. Since September 2022 when news was confirmed that the Community movie was happening, we've been wondering not just when it'll be released, but when filming would actually start. Nicole Scherzinger is opening up about the “hard decision” she had to make to leave her role as a judge on The Masked Singer so she could lead the stage musical Sunset Boulevard.

The 46-year-old entertainer left the Fox competition series after season 10, which aired in late 2023, so that she could live in London and perform in the musical on the West End. She then transferred to Broadway and just earned a Tony nomination for her performance.

Henry Golding shared an update on the upcoming Max and Warner Bros. Crazy Rich Asians TV series from Adele Lim, Jon M. Chu, and Kevin Kwan.

“Everybody’s excited,” Golding shared on the Today Show this morning.

“I was with Nora, Awkwafina, who is a fellow New Yorker, the other night, and we were discussing it. We had Adele Lim come over and visit me and Gemma [Chan] in London not too long ago to discuss where we’re heading. We have a larger, longer-running format because we’re doing a series. We have so much runway to really share the world you kind of got a glimpse of in Crazy Rich. We’re really excited to show more,” he added.

Although Golding didn’t flat-out confirm he is officially on board, it sounds like many key players are keen to explore their characters and their stories further on the small screen.

We’re down to the semi-finals on “The Masked Singer,” with only four competitors remaining. And on this week’s episode of the Fox singing competition, Jenny McCarthy-Wahlberg thinks Pearl may just be Kacey Musgraves.

In TheWrap’s exclusive sneak peek at Wednesday night’s round of competition, McCarthy-Wahlberg zeroes in on a clue for Pearl that has to do with Elvis.

“She sang on the soundtrack to ‘Elvis,’ she’s won multiple AMAs,” she deduces. “I also went to her concert. I think this could be Kacey Musgraves!”

Host Nick Cannon immediately points out that the audience likes the guess, a stark contrast to the response fellow panelist Ken Jeong often gets.

Kacey Musgraves fits squarely into the realm of country singers though, which has been the way the panelists’ guesses have leaned on Pearl thus far. Previous guesses have included Shania Twain, Trisha Yearwood, Kellie Pickler and Carrie Underwood.

Kids will have something really exciting to watch this summer. Netflix will be releasing a new animated film that is sure to capture the interest of young audiences everywhere. It's titled KPop Demon Hunters, and yes, it's as fun and unique as it sounds!

While not exactly a horror film, it incorporates horror elements, focusing on demon hunters. Sony Pictures Animation produced the movie, which is the same studio behind other popular animated films such as Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse and The Mitchells vs. The Machines. The film was directed by Maggie Kang and Chris Appelhans, who were also involved in the scriptwriting process, along with Danya Jimenez and Hannah McMechan. In addition, the main idea for the story, or the concept behind it, originates from Kang.
