Found Season 2 Episode 21 Reunites Margaret’s Family to Disasterous Effect and Introduces Dhan’s Past
Image
We knew the members of M&a would be vulnerable to this game the Evans siblings are playing, but they genuinely forgot about Jamie.

As the newest and unofficial addition to the unit, with the entire team stretched thin so often, it’s no surprise that he’d be the easiest to access. Hence, the final moments of Found Season 2 Episode 21 weren’t so much shocking as they left that sinking feeling in the pit of your stomach.

How on earth will they resolve this Lena situation?

(Matt Miller/NBC) M&a’s Latest Case Spotlighted Anti-Semitism

When we learned that an entire family was missing, there were so many questions about how that could be and how it would play out.

But as the case fell into place, it combined many things like conflict in religion, the type of normalized anti-semitism that has sadly become commonplace, and genuine greed.

Why Kal Penn's Lawrence Kutner Left House M.D.
Image
Warning: This post contains discussions of suicide.

Hugh Laurie's curmudgeonly genius was undoubtedly the main draw of "House M.D." but he'd be nothing without a supporting cast of characters to continuously upset, befuddle, and bewilder. From the very beginning of the hit Fox series, Dr. Gregory House was surrounded by a team of colleagues who were both enamored and perpetually offended by a man who remains one of the greatest detectives in movie and TV history.

Whether it was head of oncology at Princeton–Plainsboro Teaching Hospital and House's bestie, Dr. James Wilson (Robert Sean Leonard); Dean of Medicine, Dr. Lisa Cuddy (Lisa Edelstein), or House's team of diagnosticians, there were plenty of personalities against which the titular M.D.'s cynicism could clash. Throughout the show's eight seasons, that team of diagnosticians changed somewhat, with new doctors joining the team at various points. At the beginning of season...

15 Law & Order: Svu Villains That Drove Fans From the Show
Image
Content Warning: This article discusses mature topics, such as sexual assault, violence, abuse, and murder.

Currently airing its 26th season, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit is easily one of the best crime TV shows of all time. Throughout the years, the series has portrayed some exceptional detectives who are the true heart of the long-running procedural. Even when some episodes and seasons failed to impress dedicated fans, audiences kept coming back for the beloved Olivia Benson (portrayed by Mariska Hargitay) and her team.

While the team of detectives keeps the fans coming back, it's the dark aspects of the show that have turned viewers away. Considering the series' uncomfortable, disturbing, and upsetting focal point, viewers know what they're getting into when watching an episode of Law & Order: Svu. Despite this knowledge, some villains were so infuriating or sickening that fans were driven from finishing the episode or even continuing the show.

How One Big 'Smile 2' Reveal Sets Up 'Smile 3'
Image
The ending of Parker Finn's Smile 2 was a bit of a shock to the audiences who watched the movie and the audience in the actual film. The brutal ending seems to inevitably doom the future of the horror franchise. The ending sequence is bold and daring regarding where it takes the franchise, but Smile 2 and its predecessor subtly present a loophole that could potentially save the next installment from the movie's shocking ending.

Just as Smile did, Smile 2 reveals that a portion of the story took place inside the protagonist's fractured mind. This time around, it's pop star Skye Riley's (Naomi Scott) haunted mind. Nevertheless, only the last ten minutes of Smile take place inside Rose's (Sosie Bacon) mind, but it seems a sizable portion of Smile 2 takes place inside Skye's head.

30 Best Movies To Watch If You Love Saw
Image
While fans wait for Jigsaw's return in Saw XI, they can check out other great horror movies similar to Saw. Every Saw movie follows a clear formula where the Jigsaw killer or his followers place victims in complex, lethal traps, forcing them into intense moral quandaries. While most horror films count on gory kills and sadistic villains, the Saw movies are known for their gruesome deaths that seem straight from someone’s most disturbing nightmares.

Whenever fans discuss torture-based horror movies, the Saw films are often the first to come to mind. Although Saw hasn't pioneered this approach, it undoubtedly made it popular, bringing it into the commercial scene. Most movies like Saw have a little of Saw in them, or they were clear inspirations for James Wan in the first Saw film.

10 Biggest Questions Smile 2 Doesn't Answer That Smile 3 Will Have To
Image
This article contains spoilers for Smile and Smile 2

This article contains topics of murder, drug use, and self-harm.

Smile 2 hit theaters this past October, two years after the release of the original Smile. Though it may be a sequel, Smile 2 was an instant box-office success, earning over $60,000,000 at domestic box offices alone (box office mojo). The film follows troubled pop star Skye Riley (Naomi Scott), who is infected by the smile entity just as she is about to go on a world tour that will redeem her career.

Smile 2 teaches the audience much more about the Smile Curse itself, and how it works to infect the host’s mind. However, much is still left to mystery or unclear by the film's end. Much of this can be attributed to the film coming from the perspective of Skye, whose reality becomes increasingly warped as the entity infects her mind.

'It Felt Inevitable': Smile 2 Director Explains That Shocking Ending
Image
Smile 2 blurred the line between reality and delusion through its tormented protagonist. Director Parker Finn addressed speculation over the ending, which hinted the smiling curse is now an epidemic.

Parker Finn wrote Smile 2's ending before the rest of the screenplay. In an interview with /Film Daily, he asserted that was an inevitable conclusion to the sequel, which teases the sheer scale of another follow-up if confirmed. "When I sit down to write... I don't write the script until I know the ending," he said. "For me, it felt like the inevitable place that we would take Skye's story and that it didn't matter if that thought occurred to people, because that journey of how we get there is going to be surprising, and effective, and the execution of that ending was hopefully going to blow out whatever anybody might've had in their mind to get there.

Smile 2 Spoilers: New Concept Art Reveals The Final Entity Design And Pure, Unadulterated Nightmare Fuel
Image
Smile concluded by revealing the monstrous Entity, only for this year's Smile 2 to up the ante in an unforgettable final scene. During Skye Riley's final performance, the creature showed its true face before infecting her and exposing the "Smile" curse to the thousands in attendance.

That's going to make Smile 3 an even bigger movie than its predecessors, though Paramount Pictures has yet to announce threequel plans. In the meantime, concept artist Vincent Proce has just dropped some of his terrifying designs for the Entity (via FearHQ.com).

Many of his pieces are sketched in pencil, though we also have a fully illustrated final design that highlights every grotesque detail on a monster that we still know very little about; worryingly, it also appears to be damn near unstoppable from what we've seen thus far.

We recently spoke to Smile and Smile 2 director Finn Parker and asked about the Entity's role in the latter movie.

Smile 2 Artist Reveals Horrifying Concept Art for The Entity
Image
Concept artist Vincent Proce shares some of his concept art of the entity from Smile 2 on Twitter/X, and it is terrifying to witness.

Smile 2, which hit theaters in October of this year, is a psychological horror film starring Naomi Scott as a pop star who experiences a string of strange and disturbing occurrences before she is set to go on tour. This film also features Rosemarie DeWitt, Lukas Gage, Miles Gutierrez-Riley, Peter Jacobson, Ray Nicholson, Dylan Gelula, and Raúl Castillo, with Kyle Gallner, who reprises his role from the first film. The title says it all; the film's unique appeal is the eerie smiles that the victims take on and which haunt the star of the show. In both films, the curse is passed down through trauma, when one character witnesses death at the hands of one with the smiling curse. The film, like the first, was...

Does Vomit Have DNA? Why That's Important For Skye Riley In Smile 2
Image
Smile 2 led moviegoers all over the world, and even the film's main character, to question whether vomit has DNA in it. The sequel begins days after the ending of the first Smile film and sees Joel (Kyle Gallner) pass the Smile Curse onto Lewis (Lukas Gage) before being run over by a truck and killed. Lewis then passes the Curse onto Skye (Naomi Scott), the main character of the movie and a world-famous pop star. In addition to Scott, the cast of Smile 2 includes Dylan Gelula, Rosemary DeWitt, and Peter Jacobson.

Smile 2 significantly raises the stakes of the first film, as it follows Skye dealing with hallucinations caused by the Smile Entity as she is preparing to begin a tour. After days of trying to get rid of the Smile Curse, Skye eventually takes her own life on stage in front of thousands of fans at the end of Smile 2.

Thankfully, in Apple TV+'s Fly Me To The Moon, Channing Tatum and Scarlett Johansson inject some human drama into the horn-rimmed hallways of Merritt Island's Launch Operations Center. The Rom-Com-Dram, which dropped in theaters this past July - and spent an unusually long time in "rent or buy" limbo - is finally getting a streaming date this December 6th. Per the synopsis:

"Brought in to fix NASAs public image, sparks fly in all directions as marketing wunderkind Kelly Jones wreaks havoc on launch director Cole Daviss already difficult task. When the President deems the mission too important to fail, Jones is directed to stage a fake moon landing as back-up and the countdown truly begins"

Taking a lighthearted romp through one of the classic crackpot conspiracy theories, Fly Me To The Moon...

Paramount Releases ‘Smile 2’ Clip For Free Online Viewing — But Only If You Smile Into Your Webcam For 7 Minutes Straight
Image
You can watch a seven-minute free excerpt of Paramount’s new horror flick Smile 2 online — but the grin you’ll need to plaster on your face is not included.

That’s right: The studio has pulled out yet another ad stunt, requiring watchers to hold anywhere between a light smile to a full-out Cheshire Cat leer to view the film’s first seven minutes. Launched for Halloween, the webpage requires an age verification before users are directed to a screen asking for permissions to be granted for camera access. Then, the screen prompts viewers to smile and hold it for the following seven minutes of Parker Finn’s follow-up to the 2022 original pic.

If you’re thinking that you can somehow outsmart the tech, think again: The webpage, which flashes your image green upon smiling, expeditiously changes to flash a red outline at the drop of the smile. The screen then goes black,...

You Can Watch the First 7 Minutes of ‘Smile 2’ Online — but Only if You Smile Into Your Webcam the Whole Time
Image
The first seven minutes of “Smile 2” is the most I’ve ever smiled watching a horror movie — if only for the reason that the movie made me do it.

Paramount has released the intro of its horror sequel “Smile 2” onto the web for free. But in order to watch it, the website hosting the clip forces you to smile into your webcam the entire time.

And yes, it really works (and stops working if you drop the grin). Try it for yourself here; the website requires age verification.

To do it, you’ll have to activate your web camera on your laptop or phone, and in a small picture-in-picture window alongside the film clip, you’ll see your own face smiling back at you. If you stop smiling like a maniac for even a moment, the playback pauses and turns to black, with a message that says “Keep Smiling.

Smile 2 (2024) Movie Review & Ending Explained: How Does Skye’s Disturbing Finale Set the Stage for a Potential “Smile 3”?
Parker Finn
Parker Finn’s directorial debut “Smile” became one of the biggest breakout hits of the 2022 horror movie season, despite initially being planned to be released directly on Paramount+. The film is centered on the therapist Rose Cotter (Sosie Bacon), who discovers that a supernatural entity is causing people to experience traumatic breakdowns and burst out into violence. The signature sign of being possessed is that the victim can’t stop smiling; the curse is only passed on to the next inhabitant after they witness someone dying.

Although Rose dies at the end of the first “Smile” film, she ends up passing the curse to her ex-boyfriend Joel (Kyle Gallner), a police officer who now tries to give it to another victim by forcing someone to bear witness to a murder. At the beginning of “Smile 2,” Joel succeeds in killing a drug dealer in front of Lewis Fregoli (Lukas Gage...

'House' Cast Estimated Net Worth Revealed, Richest Stars Ranked From Lowest to Highest
Image
Can you believe it’s been over 12 years since House ended?!

The Fox medical television show ended its run after eight seasons on the network, and after winning several awards, including two Primetime Emmy Awards and three Creative Arts Emmys.

Starring Hugh Laurie, Robert Sean Leonard, Omar Epps, Jesse Spencer, Lisa Edelstein, Jennifer Morrison, Peter Jacobson, Olivia Wilde, Kal Penn, Amber Tamblyn, Odette Annable and Charlyne Yi, the series focused on Dr. Gregory House (Laurie), who is devoid of anything resembling bedside manner and wouldn’t even talk to his patients if he could get away with it. Dealing with his own constant physical pain, he uses a cane that seems to punctuate his acerbic, brutally honest demeanor.

While his behavior can border on antisocial, House is a brilliant diagnostician whose unconventional thinking and flawless instincts afford him widespread respect. An infectious disease specialist, House thrives on the challenge of...

House Reboot: 6 Theories For How Hugh Lauries Character Could Return In A Revival
Image
If A House reboot ever happens, bringing Hugh Lauries character back will not be easy considering how the show ended. One of the most popular shows of its generation, House ran for eight seasons and had highs and lows throughout its run. House season 8 was not as remarkable as one would expect from the final season of such a great show, not to mention how the series finale was somewhat divisive. However, between all the cast exists and the fact so much had been done with Houses character already, there were only so many ways to end the show.

At the beginning of season 8, we learn that Wilson, Houses best and arguably only true friend, is dying. Wilson was diagnosed with terminal cancer and only had a few more months to live. While House tried to find diagnoses and treatments, it soon became clear that Wilson was going to die.
