Hiroyuki Iwaki was born on 6 September 1932 in Tokyo, Japan. He was an actor, known for Rising Sun (1993), Ran (1985) and Spy Sorge (2003). He died on 13 June 2006 in Tokyo, Japan.
He was awarded an Honorary AO (Officer of the Order of Australia) on May 24, 1996 for his services to Australian-Japanese Relations particularly in the field of music.
