New Horror Anthology Fear Paris Teases Directors And Concept
After movies like V/H/S and The ABCs of Death, I’m all for horror anthologies abiding by a particular theme. There’s something inherently fun about such a cornucopia of treats, as different directors populate one single film with so many distinctive styles and traits – as long as the segments set the stage for such fun. I’ll always give a horror anthology a try, from Chillerama to The Theatre Bizarre, which is why I’m happy to say we’ve got an exciting anthology coming our way with Fear Paris.

Newly announced, Fear Paris will join the likes of Joe Dante (Gremlins), Xavier Gens (Hitman/Frontier(s)), and Timo Vuorensola (Iron Sky), as they explore the horrific underworld of France’s iconic capital city. Here’s the full press release, accompanied by a tonal teaser below:

The producers behind Paranormal Activity, Insidious, and The Iceman join forces...

Pre-American Film Market, we received word of a horrific companion piece to the anthology Paris, I Love You ( Paris, je t'aime ) that is in the works called Paris, I'll Kill You . Similar to Pily , the film calls upon a variety of filmmakers - in this case Joe Dante, Xavier Gens, Joern Heitmann, Julien Maury and Alexandre Bustillo, Ryuhei Kitamura, Paco Plaza and Christopher Smith - to tell their own stories of Paris. Except, this time, it's going to get a bit more macabre. Shock Till You Drop caught up to one of the contributors, Vincenzo Natali, who also directed an entry in Pily . "It's going to be lots of fun," Natali says. "It is what it sounds like, a horror film with a similar template to Paris, je t'aime, meaning all of the segments take place...

Afm 2010: Really Badass Artwork for Paris, I'll Kill You
Strike the artwork we showed you yesterday from your memories. Coming out of Afm, we got our hands on another one-sheet for the upcoming anthology Paris, I'll Kill You that's going to win your heart!

In Paris, I'll Kill You Joe Dante (Gremlins), Paco Plaza ([Rec]), Vincenzo Natali (Splice), Xavier Gens (Frontier(s)), Ryuhei Kitamura (The Midnight Meat Train), Christopher Smith (Black Death, Severance, Creep), French duo Julien Maury and Alexandre Bustillo (Inside) and German music video director Joern Heitmann have signed up to bring us different courses in this latest terror meal.
