Actress/singer/songwriter and writer/producer Marisa Guterman is best known for her role as
the Girl with Braces in a hilarious and memorable flashback in The 40
Year Old Virgin. She was nominated for a Young Artist Award/Leading
Young Actress in a TV Movie, MiniSeries or Special for Nickelodeon's TV
movie Shredderman Rules. Upcoming is an appearance on an episode of
Criminal Minds. She received a college theatre scholarship from the
Cerritos Center for the Performing Arts, using it at UC Berkeley, where
she received a B.A., creating her own major: Art's Potential for Social
and Political Change. The Upright Citizen's Brigade member most
recently appeared on stage in Pasadena at the Fremont Centre Theatre in
the leading role of Lilly in the World Premiere of "South of Delancey."
Part singer-songwriter, part jazz singer, the former Gibson-Baldwin
Grammy Jazz Ensemble Finalist was recently selected from a worldwide
search by splashlife.com as one of "30 Under 30 Musicians To Know,"
along with Esperanza Spalding, Dev, and Daniel Merriweather. Marisa and
her band are regulars at The House of Blues, The Viper Room, and Hotel
Cafe, where they perform her original music.
