(1960 - 1961) Australian TV series Whiplash, playing Christopher Cobb, heroic and dashing owner of the Cobb and Co Coach line. The series featured depiction of life in the Australian outback and towns in the 1940's, including the Australian Gold Rush. Factual historical snippets about bush-rangers, aborigines and events often opened the episodes. Characters included very possible bad guy of the times and saw the hero, Cobb save the day amid gunfire, treachery and horse chases.
