One of Sergio Leone's spaghetti western masterpieces has hit a major streaming platform. Once Upon a Time in the West, starring Henry Fonda and Charles Bronson, has arrived on Prime Video as of December 1.

Directed and co-written by Leone, the revenge-western Once Upon a Time in the West follows Bronson's character, Harmonica (a role originally intended for Clint Eastwood), as he tracks down Fonda's outlaw Frank to right a past wrong. The film notably cast Fonda against type as the villain. The movie's ensemble includes Claudia Cardinale, Jason Robards, Gabriele Ferzetti, Paolo Stoppa, Marco Zuanelli, Keenan Wynn, Frank Wolff, Lionel Stander, Woody Strode, Jack Elam, Al Mulock, Benito Stefanelli and Aldo Sambrell.

One of the sequels to the legendary Western film The Magnificent Seven will soon get a new streaming home. 1969's Guns of the Magnificent Seven will arrive on Prime Video on November 1.

Directed by Paul Wendkos and produced by Vincent M. Fennelly, Guns of the Magnificent Seven stars George Kennedy as the character Chris Adams, originally portrayed by Yul Brynner in previous franchise entries. Rounding out the seven are James Whitmore as Levi Morgan, Monte Markham as Keno, Reni Santoni as Maximiliano "Max" O'Leary, Bernie Casey as Cassie, Scott Thomas as P.J., and Joe Don Baker as Slater. The group bands together to free the Mexican revolutionary Angel Quintero, played by Fernando Rey, and fight the oppression of the sadistic Colonel Diego, portrayed by Michael Ansara. The movie's cast also includes Wende Wagner, Tony Davis, Frank Silvera, Sancho Gracia, Luis Rivera, George Rigaud, and Peter Lawman.

The Last Circus is a Spanish language film that will be releasing in some theatres August 19th, thanks to Magnolia Pictures. This is a surreal film that puts a clown in the middle of the Spanish Civil War. The film seems to jump from frame to frame in the red band trailer for the film, while a sneering clown unloads clip after clip. This clown is not out to bring smiles but bloodshed and fans of the film can enjoy the North American poster for the film here. The graphic tells fans: "it's showtime!" And the show begins this summer.

Here’s the A Sad Trumpet Ballad synopsis: “…1937. The circus monkeys scream wildly inside their cage while, outside, men kill and die in another circus: the Spanish Civil War.

There are no funny clowns in Alex de la Iglesia's world. Creepy clowns? Yes. Macabre clowns? Definitely. But jolly, make the kids laugh clowns? Not so much. The first poster art for Iglesia's latest - about to take a bow at the Toronto International Film Festival - and it's delightfully grim stuff. Here's how the festival describes the film:

Here's a little something odd and I don't mean the movie itself, though coming from director Alex de la Iglesia that's pretty much a given. No, with Iglesia's Last Circus soon to premiere in both Venice and Toronto - making it surely the highest profile film of his career - the first footage of the film has turned up via Spanish website El Pais. That's not odd, either, that's just good business. The odd bit is that instead of just giving El Pais the footage to properly encode and upload they instead a a camera man film the footage off of a monitor, ensuring that it would be washed out and unstable, essentially creating an authorized cam job. Spain Film Scene: Local Alex de la Iglesia's ("The Oxford Murders", "Day of the Beast") latest film "Balada Triste de Trompeta" finished principal photography this month (see pic of director above). This co-production with France's production company La fabrique 2, tells the story of two heavily scarred clowns, Javier and Sergio, that bloodily compete for the love of Natalia, the trapezist. Set in 1973, during the last days of the dictatorship of Franco, the director himself describes the film as a "grotesque tragedy of comedic horror." The film stars T.V comedian Carlos Areces, fresh from the success of its first film "Spanish Movie" and Antonio de la Torre, the critically acclaimed actor of Daniel Sánchez Arévalo's "Gordos", also starring are Sancho Gracia, Santiago Segura and Terele Pávez, all veterans from de la Iglesia's previous films.
