Shawn Levy recently revealed how his experience as a director and executive producer on Stranger Things helped him with his newest directorial project, Star Wars: Starfighter. The sci-fi adventure movie was officially announced at the recent Star Wars Celebration in Japan.

In an interview with Variety, Levy shared that working on Stranger Things for a long time taught him how to keep quiet about major secrets, which has been a beneficial skill for him during the development of his Star Wars movie. "Stranger Things taught me to keep my mouth shut," he said. "So I'm really grateful for that because I kept the Ryan Gosling news and the title and release date of my Star Wars movie pretty damn quiet for a long time. So I'm quite proud of myself and grateful to Stranger Things for making me shut my mouth."

Amazon MGM Studios' How to Rob a Bank has added another actor to its growing ensemble. Anna Sawai, who won multiple acting awards for her performance as Toda Mariko in FX's Shōgun, is set to co-star in the upcoming bank heist movie.

Per Deadline, character details for Sawai remain under wraps at this time. She joins previously announced stars Nicholas Hoult (Lex Luthor in James Gunn's upcoming Superman) and Pete Davidson (former Saturday Night Live cast member). Plot details remain unknown at this time for How to Rob a Bank, although the movie is expected to be in the vein of director David Leitch's past action comedies like Bullet Train and The Fall Guy.

How to Rob a Bank was first reported to be in development in February 2025 and will serve as Leitch's follow-up to his 2024 action rom-com The Fall Guy, starring Ryan Gosling and Emily Blunt.
