Ed Fury starred (as himself) in the Bob Mizer Athletic Guild all-male posing-strap short "Because Of Him". This short was directed by Richard Fontaine and co-starred Don Dannas and Frank Renault. A link to proof was included in my request to delete the 1946 Deanna Durbin "Because Of Him" in which Ed Fury did not appear.

  • Trivia
Blond and beefy Fury was one of a number of bodybuilder and physique model types who followed muscleman Steve Reeves over to Italy in the early 60s and won attention playing Herculean characters, most notably as Ursus, flexing his muscles, wearing as little as the law then allowed, in the several Italian sand-and-spear epics; when he returned to the USA he worked widely in television.
