Daniel Farrands was born on 3 September 1969 in Providence, Rhode Island, USA. He is a producer and writer, known for The Amityville Murders (2018), The Haunting of Sharon Tate (2019) and Halloween: The Curse of Michael Myers (1995).

In 2013, Farrands was also developing a TV series entitled &quot;Crystal Lake Chronicles&quot; as a follow-up to his seven-hour-long documentary film <a class="ipc-md-link ipc-md-link--entity" href="/title/tt2396421/?ref_=nmtrv_trv">Crystal Lake Memories: The Complete History of Friday the 13th (2013)</a>.
