We're a few years removed from its ending, but "New Girl" had a very healthy run on Fox, airing seven seasons from 2011 to 2018. The vast majority of those 146 episodes centered on Zooey Deschanel's hijinks as Jess in her loft apartment in Los Angeles alongside her roommates, Nick (Jake Johnson), Schmidt (Max Greenfiled), and Winston (Lamorne Morris).
The apartment in question is, in some ways, the typical sitcom apartment, much like the ones from "Friends," in that it seems far too expensive for the characters to actually afford. But this is television, after all, and it doesn't have to obey the laws of reality. Still, for fans of the show, it's probably worth wondering how much Jess and the gang would have had to pay to actually live in that apartment. Los Angeles is famously one of the most expensive cities in the U.

For a show that featured a lot of death, "Bones" sure did have a lot of heart. A series doesn't run for 12 seasons without an effective emotional core, after all, and "Bones" certainly managed to maintain a soft spot, even as Emily Deschanel's Temperance Brennan and David Boreanaz's Agent Seeley Booth inspected some of the most horrific corpses you've ever seen on TV.
One nice behind-the-scenes aspect of the series to offset the ongoing corpse inspections was the fact that the "Bones" cast often included family members of the stars and the show's creator, Hart Hanson. David Boreanaz's father, Dave Roberts, appeared in an uncredited cameo as an FBI agent, while Hanson's own father, Paul, showed up as a vending machine repairman. But it was during one Christmas episode that we got perhaps the most notable family-member appearance in the series.

In December, Jake Johnson and Gareth Reynolds announced that their advice podcast, We’re Here to Help, would be coming to a temporary end. The duo had released more than 140 episodes, sometimes devoting five hours a day to recording, and it became unsustainable. Reynolds, a touring comedian, was often Zooming in from the road and Johnson was in the midst of producing a new movie. It made sense to hit pause.

Your favorite movie and TV stars arrived in style on the red carpet at the 2025 Screen Actors Guild Awards. Kristen Bell hosted the 31st annual gala, which streamed on Netflix for the second time.
The SAG Awards took place at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles on Sunday, Feb. 23. Among the many celebrities in attendance was Julia Louis-Dreyfus, a nine-time SAG winner for Seinfeld and Veep, who was on hand to present the Life Achievement Award to her fellow climate change activist Jane Fonda.

A current Marvel Cinematic Universe performer recently spoke about how they were originally up for the titular role in Captain America: The First Avenger, and now I really want to see the two performers on screen together in their respective roles. While Captain America has been replaced by Sam Wilson, whose film will have many first on-screen appearances for Marvel characters including Red Hulk, Chris Evans is confirmed to return to the universe soon.
