Jennifer Crystal Foley

Billy Crystal driven crazy by Monsters, Inc. obsessed grandchildren
Billy Crystal was 'driven crazy' by his grandchildren making him do the voice of his 'Monsters, Inc.' character. The actor provided the voice of the one-eyed green creature Mike Wazowski in the Disney animated film and his role impressed his daughter, 'House' actress Jennifer Crystal Foley's two girls - who are both under 10 - so much they wouldn't let him talk normally. He told UK TV show 'Lorraine': 'My grandkids, when they started to understand what I did, because they didn't know, the first thing they saw was 'Monsters, Inc.' so then for six months I had to talk like Mike Wazowski. It drove me crazy.' Billy, 64, also revealed he got the idea for his latest...

Bette Midler
What Billy Crystal Had To Convince Bette Midler To Do
Bette Midler
Los Angeles — After nearly 30 years of friendship and shared tastes in movies, music and comedy, Billy Crystal and Bette Midler have finally taken it to the next level: They did a film together.

The two veteran entertainers first met on the comedy circuit, but never actually worked together until "Parental Guidance," in theaters Christmas Day.

"He says we met in the `60s at the Improv, and of course I don't remember any of that because I was going so fast," Midler said in a recent interview.

Crystal and Midler share the screen for the first time in the family film, playing a married couple who bumble their way along to bonding with their grandchildren. Marisa Tomei stars as their Type-a daughter, who regrets having to entrust her three kids to "the other grandparents" during a business trip with her husband when her in-laws aren't available.

The idea for the movie...

The Academy Debuts the First Trailer for the 2012 Oscars
The Academy has decided this year to debut a series of trailers leading up to the 2012 Oscars and the first, titled "Off the Grid", has just arrived featuring the likes of William Fichtner, Josh Duhammel, Vinnie Jones, Megan Fox, Robin Williams and, of course, this year's host Billy Crystal. I don't know about you, but the idea of Megan Fox being involved in a promotion for the Oscars seems a bit... Strange? Wrong? Contradictory? A press release accompanying the trailer quotes Academy Chief Marketing Officer Christina Kounelias saying, "We wanted to try something a little bit different this year instead of a traditional, clip-based piece. The trailer has a fun twist that conveys how excited everyone is to have Billy back." Popular video website Funny or Die was involved in the commercial's production and it will have a one-month run in more than 2,000 theaters beginning January 6. "Our team had a...

Billy Crystal on ‘The Daily Show’ on Funny or Die
Billy Crystal released aFunny or Dievideo. It’s the sequel to When Harry Met Sally. It probably came about from 22 years of protracted conversations between Crystal and Rob Reiner about whether or not to release another major motion picture installment of one of the original ‘Can best friends be sex friends?’ romantic comedies and deciding a four-and-a-half-minute short would be more fun and in much better taste. When Harry Met Sally 2 is really the making of When Harry Met Sally 2 and stars Crystal and Reiner pitching studio executives about where to take the storyline for the movie’s sophomore installment. The execs like what they hear, but want to make a few, minuscule #HollywoodPostItNotes inspired changes, which means, in this case, the addition of vampires and zombies. The trailers that follow star Crystal and Helen Mirren, and feature Adam Scott, Mike Tyson, Rob Riggle, Maya Rudolph, Jennifer Crystal Foley, Mike O'Malley & Josh Fadem.

Billy Crystal and Helen Mirren Prove that When Harry Met Sally 2 Really Sucks
We know exactly what you're thinking. "What in the name of all that is unholy is Dread Central doing covering a comedic short film based upon a possible sequel to the Billy Crystal hit When Harry Met Sally? Trust us. We didn't think we'd be covering it either; however, once you watch it, you'll totally understand.

This latest video from Funny or Die stars Billy Crystal, Helen Mirren, Rob Reiner, Adam Scott, Rob Riggle, Maya Rudolph, Jennifer Crystal Foley, Mike Tyson, Mike O'Malley, Josh Fadem and Ali Wong.

Billy's daughter, Lindsay Crystal, handled the directing duties from a script by Mike Foley and Howie Miller. We'd pay cold hard cash to see this flick Right Now! Watch it. Love it. Spread it.

When Harry Met Sally 2 Trailer With Billy Crystal & Helen Mirren
Those crazy kids over at Funny Or Die have come up with a new video - the trailer for When Harry Met Sally 2.

Rob Reiner and Billy Crystal pitch an idea to a studio for a sequel to When Harry Met Sally, depicting where the characters might be today. The studio loves the concept, but has its own idea to make it a little more current. Helen Mirren also co-stars.

I think it’s funny that Sally has died, but would never work without Meg Ryan. Feel free to snicker here.

The idea for Grampires: When Sharon Bit Harry was born during Billy.s grandson.s first birthday party, leading Billy.s sons-in-law, Howie Miller and Michael Foley (TV producers/writers), to write a script. Funny Or Die said, .Let.s go make this.. The director is Billy.s daughter, Lindsay Crystal (producer, The Daily Show with Jon Stewart). Billy.s other daughter,...

Net Crawl: Fod’s Hilarious “When Harry Met Sally 2″ Takes Unbelievable Twist!
The sequel for ’When Harry Met Sally’ that everyone has been waiting for is finally here. Starring Billy Crystal, Helen Mirren and featuring the many talents of Rob Reiner, Adam Scott, Mike Tyson, Rob Riggle, Maya Rudolph, Jennifer Crystal Foley, Mike O’Malley & Josh Fadem. Its one of Fod’s greatest satire trailers and I laughed my ass off. What is shocking is how they got all this talent to be a part of it not to mention the direction they took, it shows the destructive power studio executives really have on beloved properties.

Billy Crystal Returns In ‘When Harry Met Sally 2′ Trailer
Billy Crystal hasn’t had an honest on-screen appearance since Analyze That in 2002. He’s rumored for The Muppets later this year and will provide his voice for Monsters University, but we haven’t seen much from the celebrated comedic actor. That is all about to change with a sequel to When Harry Met Sally. You can see the trailer via FunnyorDie below featuring a large cast of Helen Mirren, Rob Reiner, Adam Scott, Mike Tyson, Rob Riggle, Maya Rudolph, Jennifer Crystal Foley, Mike O’Malley, and Josh Fadem.

I admire the effort, but I didn’t find the parody all too funny. The vampire/zombie jokes seem worn out and it all seemed to be trying to hard. For more context on why exactly this was made, check out Crystal’s appearance on Jon Stewart this week.

Crystal Teams Up With Daughter For When Harry Met Sally Sequel Skit
Billy Crystal
Billy Crystal has teamed up with his filmmaker daughter Lindsay to shoot a hilarious new skit for Will Ferrell's FunnyOrDie.com website.

In the short film, Crystal and When Harry Met Sally director Rob Reiner try to pitch a sequel to the 1989 movie to three young movie executives.

But in the update, Meg Ryan's character, Sally, is dead! And Helen Mirren plays Crystal's aunt.

The sketch is a true family affair - Crystal's son-in-laws wrote it and it also features his other daughter, Jennifer Crystal.

The skit debuts in the U.S. at midnight on Tuesday.
