Michael Copeman is an American/Canadian actor, who was born in Rhinebeck, New York on October 11, 1950. He has been living in Toronto, Canada for many years, and holds dual citizenship (Canada/USA).

Some of his most memorable parts are in the Canadian-produced sci-fi movies "Abraxas, Guardian of the Universe (1991)" (as the local town Sheriff who has to fight off two alien bounty hunters running amok in his jurisdiction), "Scanners III: The Takeover (1991)" (as an evil Scanner leader with psychic super-powers), and "Food of the Gods II (1989)" (as a police officer on the hunt for mutated giant killer rats), plus bigger roles in Canadian/American low-budget action-films, including: "Last Man Standing (1987)", "The Killing Machine (1994)", and "Street Law (1995)", as well as smaller parts in bigger Hollywood productions, like "The Fly (1986)", "Death to Smoochy (2002)", and "The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford (2007)".

Frequently works with the director/producer/writer-team Damian Lee and David Mitchell (6 titles, including those mentioned above, plus the seldom-seen "Thunderground (1989)").

Also known for recurring parts in the TV-series "Fast Track (1997- )", "Highlander: The Raven (1998-1999)", "Aaron Stone (2009-2010)", "Dan for Mayor (2010- )", and "When Hope Calls (2019- )".
