Justin Long has set his next horror movie and it's about something all of us have probably feared at least once in our lives: lice. Simply titled Lice, the upcoming horror film is about a particularly nasty parasitic invasion.
Variety reports that the film will be the first feature produced by Kevin Connolly's ActionPark Productions with his partner Patrick Marino. It is being touted "as a horror mashup of The Breakfast Club and Lord of the Flies."
Long will be joined by Emile Hirsch (Into the Wild) and Connolly, best known for starring in the HBO series Entourage, will also star in the movie. Lice goes into production this week and will film in Canada. Based on the early description for the movie, it will be a fun throwback with plenty of references to the "'80s high school classics," but with plenty of scares thrown into the mix.

David Arquette has always carved his own path, whether it was through the world of horror with Scream, the wrestling ring with WCW, or now the crime-ridden streets of Mob Cops. Speaking to Collider’s Aidan Kelley while promoting the new film — which also stars Kevin Connolly, Jeremy Luke and Graham Sibley — Arquette reflected on his wrestling journey, his passion projects, and why he never set out to be a trailblazer — even if that’s exactly what he became. When asked about his impact on the wrestling world — particularly after the release of his critically acclaimed documentary You Can't Kill David Arquette — the actor was as humble as ever.
"I don’t know. I’ve never seen myself, really, as a trailblazer," Arquette said with a laugh. "I do things that I love, that I have a passion for, that I want to spend my time working hard at. That's...

If you’ve ever yelled “What?!” at your screen during Succession or felt emotionally wrecked after an episode of The Last of Us, chances are, Mark Mylod was the one quietly pulling the strings. He’s the guy behind some of TV’s most jaw-dropping, soul-crushing, and straight-up masterful episodes, and yet, he’s still flying under the radar for a lot of casual viewers. That’s about to change.
Mylod’s name is buzzing again, and this time because he’s set to direct HBO’s upcoming Harry Potter reboot. Yes, the man who made Kendall Roy’s meltdowns look like Shakespeare is heading to Hogwarts. And honestly? We’re excited.
But before we jump into the wizarding world, let’s hit pause and look back at the episodes that made us sit up and wonder who directed a certain episode. From power plays on luxury yachts to emotional gut-punches in post-apocalyptic Wyoming,...

"Where is the money coming from, Leo?!" Lionsgate has debuted an official trailer for another boring crime thriller called Mob Cops, arriving on VOD starting in April this spring. These kind of generic "bad guys are kinda cool" movies really are a dime a dozen nowadays in the streaming / VOD era. From director Danny A. Abeckaser, Mob Cops is based on true events in mobster crime lore: When the two dirtiest cops in NYPD history pop up on a veteran detective's radar, he goes on a hunt to discover the truth and bring all them to justice. It's set across the 80s and 90s, leading up to the year 2005. The full ensemble cast features David Arquette, Jeremy Luke, Danny A. Abeckaser, Joseph Russo, Nathaniel Buzolic, Kyle Stefanski, Bo Dietl, Graham Sibley, and Kevin Connolly. Abeckaser adds: "I've always been fascinated with dirty cop stories, and this one is the biggest...

While Entourage isn't returning for another reunion, fans are getting the next best thing. The show's creator, Doug Ellin, is reuniting with stars Kevin Connolly and Kevin Dillon for a new series. Entourage debuted on HBO in 2004 and was loosely inspired by the life of Mark Wahlberg, as the series focused on fictional movie star Vincent Chase (Adrien Grenier) and his childhood friend-turned-manager, Eric "E" Murphy (Connolly). They're joined in the show by Vincent's half-brother Johnny "Drama" Chase (Dillon), his childhood friend and personal driver Turtle (Jerry Ferrara), and his loud, foul-mouthed agent, Ari Gold (Jeremy Piven). The series was a big hit for HBO, earning multiple Emmy wins over its eight-season run and returning for a 2015 film that did poorly at the box office with critics.

In the not-publicly-released trailer for the pilot Doug Ellin hopes to sell, Kevin Connolly pursues an entertainment industry hustle alongside Kevin Dillon. At first glance, it looks like a reboot of Entourage, Ellin’s early-2000s show about a rising actor and his team that starred Connolly, Dillon and others. Then halfway through the trailer, Charlie Sheen shows up.
Connolly, playing a version of himself, needs a hit for his podcast studio. So he approaches Sheen, who is also playing a version of himself. “This could be an amazing opportunity for both of us,” fake Connolly tells fake Sheen. “It could be your get-out-of-jail-free card.”
Ellin has described this project, Ramble On, as being about second acts and redemption. Perhaps those themes are on Ellin’s mind 20 years after Entourage premiered on HBO. He has attempted other projects since then. But that was before the renewed attention Entourage seems to be getting,...

So, if you love Ratajkowski’s performances and largely erotic thriller films here are the best movies and TV shows starring Emily Ratajkowski you could watch.

Leave it to the Dutch to bring us a truly bonkers satirical take on 90s sitcoms that turns into a nightmare for Shaun of the Deads Nick Frost and his bumbling family. Thats the premise behind the new horror-comedy Krazy House, which is slated to be available on all VOD platforms beginning October 4, and also stars Alicia Silverstone and Kevin Connolly.
Directed by Steffen Haars and Flip van der Kuil, Krazy House tells the tale of an ordinary Jesus-loving American family taken hostage by the Russian workers they hired to fix up their home. The bloody new trailer showcases the movies meta take on sitcoms from a bygone era, complete with a laugh track and live studio audience. As the Russians dismantle their home board-by-board, Bernard (Nick Frost) grows increasingly frustrated until he finally snaps and decides hes not going to take it anymore. "Krazy House is taped in front of a live studio audience." (Though not really...) XYZ Films has revealed an official trailer for the film Krazy House, a bonkers weird & crazy creation from the two Dutch filmmakers Steffen Haars & Flip van der Kuil. This premiered at the 2024 Sundance Film Festival at Midnight, and the reviews were awful. It's an acquired taste if you're into this kind of wacky humor. When Russian workers in Bernie's house turn out to be wanted criminals on the hunt for stashed loot, Bernie must man up and save his wife and the rest of his studio audience approved sitcom family. It's a riff on 90s sitcoms, taking place all in one "crazy house", but with even more disgusting and heinous things happening all the time. The horror film stars Nick Frost, Alicia Silverstone, Kevin Connolly, Gaite Jansen, and Walt Klink. I saw this at Sundance and absolutely hated it,...

XYZ Films has dropped a new trailer for Krazy House, the action-horror comedy which our own Chris Bumbray absolutely hated when it premiered at the Sundance Film Festival earlier this year.
Part ’90s sitcom, part blood-soaked, gross-out mayhem, the Krazy House trailer proudly features its offensive subject matter as a badge of pride. The films stars Nick Frost as Bernie, a religious homemaker who discovers that the Russian workers in his house are, in fact, criminals searching for loot. In order to save his wife and the rest of his studio audience-approved sitcom family, Bernie has to man up and unleash his inner beast. The film was written and directed by Steffen Haars & Flip van der Kuil and stars Nick Frost, Alicia Silverstone, Kevin Connolly, Gaite Jansen, and Walt Klink.
Krazy House feels like it’s targeting a very niche audience who might appreciate its shock humour, but that didn’t include Bumbray.

In her “Krazy House” review for IndieWire, critic Katie Rife described writer/directors Steffen Haars and Flip van der Kuil’s absurdist Dutch horror comedy as testing “the limits of taste.”
With its hyper-violent style and blasphemous dark humor, the latest feature from the filmmakers behind “New Kids Turbo” and “Bros Before Hos” also inspired Rife to write that their movie was “like an Adult Swim infomercial directed by black-metal teenagers.” That’s a point of pride in the outrageous project’s equally unapologetic first trailer — which debuted exclusively with IndieWire after “Krazy House” made its divisive world premiere at Sundance in January.
The first look above includes quotes from our site’s critical review and others to spectacularly cheeky self-endorsement. Decidedly not for everyone, this sitcom deconstruction quickly gained a reputation for its gonzo shock value and outright mocking of Christianity. The movie sequel to HBO's celebrated television series Entourage is streaming now on Netflix. Created by Doug Ellin, who also went on to write and direct the 2015 movie, Entourage spanned 96 episodes across eight seasons from 2004 to 2011 and became one of the most popular comedy series of the 2000s. While some of the humor used in the celebrated series certainly belongs to the time it takes place in, Entourage provided one of the most detailed and hilarious inside looks into the hypothetical life of an A-list movie star named Vincent Chase (Adrian Grenier). The series is loosely based on the real-life experiences of Mark Wahlberg, who acts as an executive producer.
By blending pseudo-reality and fiction, Entourage became an immersive and highly bingable self-reflective series about Hollywood and the entertainment industry. The series offers a glamorized slice of life for Vince as he rises to Hollywood stardom with the support of his hometown troupe from Queens,...

The follow-up movie to one of the most acclaimed HBO shows of all-time just got an exciting streaming update. Netflix has announced that Entourage, the 2015 film which aired four years after the conclusion of the eight-season series, will begin streaming on the platform starting on August 16. The film returned original stars Adrian Grenier, Kevin Connolly, Jerry Ferrara, and Kevin Dillon, and hauled in just short of $50 million at the worldwide box office on a reported budget of $30 million, squeezing by with a thin but respectable profit margin. The Entourage movie also stars Jeremy Piven, Emmanuelle Chriqui, and Perrey Reeves, and currently sits at "rotten" scores of 32% from critics and 57% from general audiences on the aggregate site Rotten Tomatoes.

Among the five people arrested in the Matthew Perry overdose death investigation were a local physician and the actor’s live-in assistant. Then there was Erik Fleming, listed as the TV star’s “acquaintance,” and charged as a middleman in the deadly ketamine scheme.
The Department of Justice described Fleming’s activities as that of a drug dealer, coordinating with Perry’s assistant and Jasveen Sangha, the so-called Ketamine Queen. According to the DOJ, “after discussing prices with [co-defendant Kenneth] Iwamasa, Fleming coordinated the drug sales with Sangha, and brought cash from Iwamasa to Sangha’s stash house in North Hollywood to buy vials of ketamine.” On Oct. 24, 2023, four days before Perry’s death, Fleming at one point informed the assistant that the ketamine was “on its way to our girl,” in reference to Sangha.

Four cast members from the HBO hit Entourage have reunited. Adrian Grenier, Kevin Dillon, Kevin Connolly, and Jerry Ferrara got together at MegaCon this weekend. The cast members have individually met up since the show's end, but this was their first group reunion in years.

The show revolves around Vincent Chase (Adrian Grenier), a rising film star navigating the highs and lows of Hollywood. Vince's entourage includes his best friend and manager, Eric "E" Murphy (Kevin Connolly); his half-brother and struggling actor, Johnny "Drama" Chase (Kevin Dillon); and his childhood friend and driver, Turtle (Jerry Ferrara). Dutch directorial duo Steffan Haars and Flip Van Der Kuil’s English-language debut, Krazy House, polarized Sundance audiences this year for its over-the-top lampooning of the ’90s sitcom era. Per Deadline, WTFilms has boarded international sales rights on the divisive horror-comedy.
In the film from writers/directors Steffen Haars and Flip van der Kuil…
“When Russian workers in Bernie’s house turn out to be wanted criminals, Bernie has to man up and save his ’90s sitcom family.”
Nick Frost (Shaun of the Dead) stars as the bumbling Bernie Christian alongside Alicia Silverstone (Perpetrator) as his beleaguered wife Eva. The cast also includes Jan Bijvoet, Gaite Jansen, Walt Klink and Kevin Connolly.
The ’90s sitcom setup quickly derails when a trio of Russian criminals arrive; shocking violence and chaos ensues.
The movie debuted in Sundance’s The Midnights section and then made its European premiere in Rotterdam’s Limelight section this weekend.

Remember that scene in Natural Born Killers in which the Juliette Lewis character enters a Married… with Children-style sitcom, with Rodney Dangerfield playing her dad? Imagine a whole movie based on that concept, add tons of violence and gore — not to mention gags about Christ and Catholicism, a tray-full of crystal meth and, in one late sequence, a dog that gets decapitated by a shotgun blast — and you’ll get an idea of what’s in store while watching the Sundance Midnight selection, Krazy House.
As over-the-top as that already sounds, the film is even more exhausting to sit through — like a hard-r Saturday Night Live sketch that’s been taken way too far, to the point you’re just hoping that it stops. Relentless and off-putting, the English-language debut of Dutch hitmakers Steffen Haars and Flip van der Kuil is unlikely to land a wide audience in the U.

The definition of satire is flexible, but not quite flexible enough to accommodate “Krazy House.” This bloody, anarchic hand grenade of a film is just straight-up blasphemous, opening with a brushed-aluminum shot of a cop plugging a nun full of bullets and escalating from there. Like an Adult Swim infomercial directed by black-metal teenagers, the latest feature from Dutch comedy duo Steffen Haars and Flip van der Kuil takes sneering pleasure in giving the middle finger to God in hyper-violent, absurdist fashion.
The Adult Swim bit is baked into the premise of the movie, which takes place entirely within the confines of a sound stage reminiscent of the set from “Married…With Children.” The sitcom-within-the-film is called, naturally, “Krazy House.” It revolves around the Christian family, which is composed of standard-issue archetypes: bucktoothed bumbler Bernie (Nick Frost); his wife Eva (Alicia Silverstone), who’s naturally way out of his league...

The logline for writers/directors Steffen Haars and Flip van der Kuil’s Krazy House reads like the perfect gonzo midnighter for the horror crowd. The initial setup is meant to skewer the zaniness of ’90s sitcoms, complete with a live studio audience and aspect ratio to match. But that premise quickly goes off the rails, not in a good way, stretching a short film concept into a grueling slog of empty shock value.
Complete with an opening theme song and credits, Krazy House introduces the Christian family. Bernie (Nick Frost) serves as the oafish but well-meaning dad, the polar opposite of his neurotic workaholic wife, Eva (Alicia Silverstone). Then there’s his gum-swallowing daughter Sarah (Gaite Jansen) and science-obsessed son Adam (Walt Klink), both unamused by Bernie’s clumsiness and steadfast devotion to Jesus Christ. It’s only house pup Angel that seems not to mind Bernie’s sitcom hijinks.

The Sundance Film Festival is one of the most highly respected film festivals in the world, and while the horror genre generally doesn’t seem to receive as much respect as it deserves, horror has had a steady presence at Sundance over the years. In fact, just last year the Sundance horror line-up included the likes of Infinity Pool, Talk to Me, My Animal, and Onyx the Fortuitous and the Talisman of Souls. Below you can take a closer look at some of the horror movies that will be showing at Sundance 2024, with images to go along with each one of them.
Of course, most of the horror can be found in the Midnight program:

Santa season is in full swing. But with Dashing Through the Snow, audiences may relish the creative twists offered by stars Chris “Ludacris” Bridges (Fast X) and Lil Rel Howery. The performers elevate this seasonal comedy about a divorced social worker named Eddie (Ludacris) who has lost the Christmas spirit due to a traumatic childhood experience. Directed by Tim Story, who made a dent this year with The Blackening, the comedy is produced by Will Packer and written by Scott Rosenberg of TV’s High Fidelity, Cowboy Bebop, and From.
The heartwarming tale finds Eddie and his nine-year-old daughter Charlotte (Madison Skye Validum) meeting a mysterious fellow in a red suit named Nick (Howery). The guy thinks he’s Santa. Eddie wants to help. But there’s a twisted subplot here in the vein of Home Alone that sends the film soaring to comedic heights. Oscar Nuñez, Teyonah Parris, and...
