When officers arrived at the scene, Collins insisted there was no emergency, refusing to tell police why he'd called...

Mother’s Day is interesting, especially with its connection to Troma. Directed by Charles Kaufman the brother of Lloyd there is a recognisable Troma style on display, but less hectic and if anything somewhat more mature.

It.s been another successful year for the country.s premier drama schools, at least measured by the number of actor graduates that have signed with Australian talent agents.
All 22 graduates of Nida.s acting class have secured representation. The Vca had 24 graduate actors, of whom all but one has signed with agents. That actor is still negotiating while heading home to the Us.
The Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts (Waapa) graduated 17 actors. Sixteen have found agents and the other had a final interview on Thursday and was hopeful of doing a deal soon afterwards.
"At the Nida Showcase in early November, it was fantastic to introduce the Nida graduating class of actors to the best agents in town,. Di Drew, the school.s Head of Film and Television, tells If.
.Within three weeks, every graduate from the 2013 acting class had an agent. This year's graduates are very prepared and industry ready,...

London -- Indie production house Studio Lambert and Channel 4 have been accused of faking scenes in "The Jacksons Are Coming" a 2008 docudrama about members of the Jackson family considering moving to English coastal county of Devon.
Matt Fiddes, a local karate instructor and former bodyguard of Michael Jackson, is suing Channel 4 and the producers, alleging that his portrayal in the documentary was unfair and that elements of the show were made up.
Channel 4, Studio Lambert and the film's producer Jane Preston, have defended the show and say the legal tussle, due to begin in the High Court in June, will be "fiercely fought." They robustly defended the documentary, refuting any suggestions of wrongdoing.
"We are confident that they can and will demonstrate the honesty and truthfulness of this documentary at trial," the three parties said.
In court documents for Fiddes, his lawyers claim he was libeled by...

How can Chris Brown gain respect again? —ThulaneH, via Twitter You mean in addition to expressing his deepest regret atop a Jet Ski in Florida? A statement about the seriousness of his alleged crimes (to which he pleaded not guilty yesterday) would be a start. "He should not cry and blame others, hardships or pressures in his life," PR pro Robert Collins posits. Instead Brown should acknowledge that domestic violence is wrong without jeopardizing his chances in court—in other words, "acknowledge that assault and abuse are serious issues." Brown has yet to express any of the above, leaving him open to speculation that he has no problem with smacking women...
