Hallmark Channel maintains its beloved heritage of uplifting holiday storytelling with “To Have and To Holiday,” a lovely romantic comedy that deviates from the conventional Christmas romance formula. This holiday film delves at love, family dynamics, and the challenges of a whirlwind relationship through the eyes of Celeste Palmer and Jason Arrington’s surprise engagement.
The movie depicts a young couple’s effort to prove their commitment under the watchful eye of Celeste’s overprotective pastor father in the gorgeous little village of Everly. What makes this film different is its novel take on the genre, balancing genuine levity with genuine emotional depth. Instead of presenting a flawless, idealized romance, it digs into the muddy, real-world challenges of love and family acceptance.

‘Average Joe’ (2024) tells the inspiring true story of a high school football coach who fought for his right to publicly express his religious beliefs, leading to a landmark Supreme Court case. Directed by Harold Cronk, known for the ‘God’s Not Dead’ franchise, the film presents a compelling legal drama through a faith-based lens. The narrative follows Joe’s journey, from his time as a Marine to the pivotal moment when his post-game prayers ignited national debate. While unmistakably a religious film, ‘Average Joe’ avoids preaching, instead offering a heartfelt exploration of standing firm in one’s convictions. The debate surrounding religious freedom has simmered in recent years, with passionate viewpoints on both sides of the line. With his latest film Average Joe, director Harold Cronk takes on this controversial topic, telling the based-on-a-true-story tale of a coach standing up for his beliefs.
Joe Kennedy serves as head coach for the local high school football team. After overcoming difficulties in his past, he feels called to express his faith on the field in a small daily act—kneeling in prayer at midfield after each game. But not all see it that way. The administration argues it could pressure players, ordering Joe to cease the practice.
When he refuses to pray privately instead, events are set in motion that will carry the case all the way to the Supreme Court. As criticism mounts from both the community and his wife facing backlash at work, Joe’s commitment to his promise is tested.

In "Suits," there are several supporting characters that play important roles throughout the show. Some only appeared in a couple of episodes, while others would show up now and then. This includes antagonists, proper villains, and friends of the firm.
Harvey Specter, Mike Ross, and other Suits protagonists were great, but the legal dramas supporting characters also stole the show. With TV shows like Suits becoming rarer in an era of limited series and big-budget 10-episode shows for streaming, it can be easy to forget how difficult it was for a series to run successfully for nine seasons. The Suits characters were part of the reason why the show was on air for so long and continues to find new audiences on Netflix and Peacock.

Pinnacle Peak Pictures is bringing a slate of faith-based films to the Cannes market, including a new installment in the “God’s Not Dead” franchise.
Entitled “God’s Not Dead: In God We Trust,” the film will be released theatrically in the U.S. this fall, but, like the rest of Pinnacle’s slate, foreign territories are available to buyers. The new “God’s Not Dead” film follows the series’ protagonist, Rev. David Hill (played once again by David A.R. White), who, with the help of a skilled political strategist, runs for political office on a platform of preserving “religious freedom” and healing divisions. The cast also includes Dean Cain, who appeared in the first film in the franchise and is best known for “Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman,” as well as Isaiah Washington (“Grey’s Anatomy”) and Ray Wise (“X-Men: First Class”).

Seth Green's return as Mitch Miller in That '90s Show season 2 can fill the void of a pop culture-obsessed character like Eric Forman. Mitch Miller's role in the sequel series can bring back the Star Wars and pop culture references that were a staple of the original That '70s Show. Mitch Miller's fandom may set up the future storyline of a Star Wars resurgence in That '90s Show, leading to excitement for the upcoming prequel films.
Following the confirmation that an original That 70s Show figure will be making a cameo in That 90s Show season 2, it looks like the sequel has found a great replacement for one missing element of Eric Formans character. Similar to how a few unexpected original characters made cameos in That 90s Show season 1, the Netflix shows return is certain to have more surprises in store regarding That 70s Show characters appearances. Moira O'Hara had two personas in American Horror Story, complicating her age. Breckenridge was 29 playing young Moira, while Conroy was 58 as the elder version. Moira's spirit aged in the Murder House, unlike other ghosts in American Horror Story.
Moira O'Hara had two distinct personas in American Horror Story's debut season, which complicated the ability to pinpoint her age. Both Alexandra Breckenridge and Frances Conroy portrayed Moira throughout season 1, titled Murder House — and Conroy earned a nomination for Best Supporting Actress at the 64th Emmy Awards thanks to her chilling performance as the elder version of Moira. Moira was the housekeeper at the infamous "Murder House" and continued the residence's upkeep when the Harmon family moved in.

While it is indisputable that Harvey (Gabriel Macht) and Mike (Patrick J. Adams), best known for their bravado winning streak, have perfected their trade and are clear front-runners for Suits' best lawyers, the show is filled with talented legal minds. Louis Litt (Rick Hoffman) is a force to reckon with, and so is Robert Zane (Wendell Pierce), and even the villainous Travis Tanner (Eric Close), Sean Cahill (Neal McDonough), and Andrew Malik (Usman Alley). But there is one name that beats them all for Suits' best lawyer. From her childhood, Jessica Pearson (Gina Torres) isn't so easily labeled as a conventional girl. She defies her strict father to pursue law instead of his preferred choice of surgery, which he hoped she would follow in his footsteps. Jessica has broken barriers to be among the few women from a minority community at the pinnacle of law firm leadership in New York.

A perfect villain is one whose presence looms over the shoulders of your hero even when the villain is nowhere in the picture. Suits has a fair share of villains that make the protagonists sweat to achieve their goals. You might remember Malik (Usman Ally), Harvey Specter's (Gabriel Macht) opposing lawyer who was willing to do anything to beat and punish Harvey, or the obnoxious Travis Tanner (Eric Close) who flew all the way from Boston to New York to give Harvey's law firm one hell of a legal challenge. While there is only one last lion roaring in the jungle of villainous Suits, there are a handful of contenders that give him a run for the title. One such is Daniel Hardman (David Costabile), the co-founder of Pearson Hardman alongside Jessica Pearson (Gina Torres). Hardman gave Jessica and Harvey hell on earth over their law firm. For a...

If the word "obnoxious" had a face, it would resemble Travis Tanner's (Eric Close). However, he was also the character who presented Harvey and the other lawyers in Suits with their most significant challenge. His entrance onto the show mirrored his persona. He disrupted Jessica's (Gina Torres) deposition to offer information that would aid a lawyer he would soon replace in facing off against Harvey (Gabriel Macht). Following that, he deceived Donna (Sarah Rafferty) — yes, Donna! — into vacating her desk, allowing him access to Harvey, whom he dared to contest, recalling how Harvey missed the state championships in college due to a dislocated shoulder. He had emerged victorious against Daniel Hardman (David Costabile), and despite his preference for staying low-key, he relished engaging in battles and securing legal victories against top-notch opponents.

The Missing Persons Unit of Without a Trace solved dozens of fictitious disappearances, with Anthony Lapaglia, Poppy Montgomery, Enrique Murciano, Eric Close, Marianne Jean-Baptiste, and Roselyn Sánchez playing the show’s dogged FBI agents. Because I most often watch Carlo Marks as he portrays David Peck on Chesapeake shores, his image evokes beautiful landscapes and lapping water.
So, it shouldn't have been surprising that when we had an opportunity to chat on the phone about his upcoming Christmas move, Angel Falls: A Novel Holiday, that he was doing it at his cabin on the shore.
Sometimes, life and entertainment collide.
Carlo is starring as Ryan, a former friend and rival of Hannah (Jen Lilley), who returns to his hometown after the death of his parents. Reconnecting with Hannah comes with a lot of pain for Hannah who hasn't been able to forget that her dream job went to Ryan while she's still working for her parents at their publishing house.

Well yeehaw, the gang’s all here!
On Thursday, Nashville ended its series finale with a fourth-wall-breaking bit that brought back most of the actors who’d appeared on the show over the past six seasons — including Connie Britton, who left the drama when Rayna died in Season 5.
After Deacon brought out Gideon to join him onstage at Ryman Auditorium, they began to play “A Life That’s Good.” Slowly, they were joined by Daphne, Maddie and Scarlett, then Avery, Will and Juliette. The scene moved from fiction to reality as Britton stepped out to stand next to Charles Esten,...

And like they do every year they did not hold back with their responses to the winners of this year’s Golden Globes film categories. According to a recent report from TV Line, the Nashville season 4 folks have cut actor, Eric Close aka Teddy, out of most of the upcoming season due to some creative reasons. Their sources told them this big action is due to a larger creative effort to place the focus of the show heavily on the music business. Teddy was last seen, getting arrested in the season 3 finale by the Feds for embezzling official funds to go see a high-priced hooker. However, Teddy's strong ties to Rayna and her two children, means that he will likely return at some point. Their sources actually report that there's a good chance Teddy will return as a guest character. Teddy's portrayer, Eric Close, isn't feeling too bad about his demotion as he's already landed a reprise lawyer role as Travis Tanner on USA's hit show, "Suits," for their new 5th season.

Toodles, Teddy.
Nashville‘s Eric Close, whose character was taken away in handcuffs at the end of the ABC drama’s third season, will not be a series regular in Season 4, TVLine has learned exclusively.

ABC declined to comment, but we’re hearing Close’s status change is part of a larger creative effort to place the focus of the show squarely on the music business.
For three seasons, it seemed as if Teddy had been starring in his own satellite show about local Nashville politics.

Deyna fans — that is, those who want Nashville‘s Deacon and Rayna to get over it already and get together — came one step closer to their goal with Wednesday’s packed midseason premiere.
