    Christopher Cary first appeared professionally with the Sadler's Wells Theatre (later the Royal Ballet) in his native England. He soon switched his vocation from dance to acting and directing. He moved to Los Angeles in 1955, where he worked with Judy Garland, Charlton Heston, and Dame Judith Anderson, among many others.
