The midseason finale of “Love & Hip Hop: Miami” Season 5 has scored the season’s highest-rated episode in delayed viewing, TheWrap can reveal exclusively.
As viewers tuned in for the fifth installment’s dramatic conclusion on Oct. 30 at 8 p.m. on VH1, the “Love & Hip Hop: Miami” midseason finale scored a total viewership of nearly 600,000, according to Nielsen live-plus-three-day viewers.
Ratings for the “Love & Hip Hop: Miami” finale also grew 35% over three days of viewing, with its 0.47 live-plus-same-day rating among adults 18-49 growing to a 0.63 rating in the key demo, and the 2.43 live-plus-same-day share rising to a 3.29 share after three days.

“Caught in the Act: Unfaithful” — the investigation series where victims of infidelity put the cheaters in their lives on blast and get justice for their broken hearts — is moving from VH1 to MTV for it’s second season, TheWrap can reveal exclusively. Season 2 will debut on July 11 at 9 p.m. Et/Pt as part of MTV’s Tuesday Night Takeover. It will air after “Love and Hip Hop Atlanta.”
Tami Roman returns as host. Roman will team up with suspecting lovers to catch and confront their cheating partners. After investigating, Tami and relationship coaches will suspecting lovers on how to move forward. In the end, they can join forces with their partner’s other lover, or take them both down in an undercover ambush.
Two new relationship coaches will be introduced this season, one of them being radio host and author, DJ Envy of “The Breakfast Club” fame.

VH1 series including Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta, Couples Retreat and Caught In The Act: Unfaithful are moving to MTV.
The company said it was looking to find new audiences for these shows, which are all being produced by Lashan Browning’s Antoinette Media, which Paramount recently invested in. The move comes as it is exploring a sale of BET Media Group, which now includes VH1, meaning that it will keep a number of its biggest titles on its other network.
The biggest move involves Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta, which is going in to its 11th season. It premiered on VH1 in 2012.
Season 11, which will air this summer, is being rebooted and will follow a more “docu approach to storytelling” as it documents the lives of women who have built their empires in Atlanta.

The company is described as a full-service production company working on unscripted titles, scripted features, and documentaries.
Browning currently produces seven series for MTV Entertainment Studios, including “Love & Hip Hop Atlanta,” “Love & Hip Hop Miami,” “Love & Hip Hop Family Reunion,” “Couples Retreat,” “Caught in the Act: Unfaithful,” “Shaunie & Keion: Destination I Do,” and “Run it Back.”

For those who’ve been waiting and waiting to see Tami Roman help suspicious partners catch their lovers cheating, the wait is almost over. “VH1’s Caught In the Act: Unfaithful,” has an official premiere date.
The reality show, hosted by Roman (and previously called “Unfaithful: Caught In the Act”), will have a two-episode premiere on Monday, July 18, starting at 9 p.m. Et/Pt, TheWrap can exclusively reveal. The following two Mondays will also have two-episodes each, kicking off at the same time.

Jamie Foxx has signed a development deal with MTV Entertainment Group, the ViacomCBS division said Wednesday.
Under the pact, the Oscar-winning actor and his producing partner Datari Turner will develop and executive produce original movies across MTV Entertainment Group’s portfolio of nine brands, including MTV, Comedy Central, Paramount Network, Smithsonian Channel, Pop TV, CMT, VH1, TV Land, Logo, and their respective studios, as well as MTV Documentary Films.
Foxx and Turner will look to work on projects “with Bipoc [Black, indigenous and people of color] filmmakers focused on diverse storytelling,” per MTV Entertainment Group, which is lead by president Chris McCarthy.

“VH1 Couples Retreat,” a new six-episode series celebrating Black love, will premiere March 29 at 8 p.m., Variety has learned exclusively.
The show will feature three couples best-known to audiences from the network’s “Love & Hip Hop” franchise (Yandy Smith-Harris and Mendeecees Harris; Rasheeda and Kirk Frost; Ray J and Princess Love), as well as activist Raymond Santana and model Deelishis, and actor Michael Blackson with his significant other Rada.
On the show, the couples will embark upon a week-long vacation and take part in honest and uncensored conversations about how the celebrity factor can challenge a relationship, the importance of communication and the pain of heartache. MTV Studios has signed executive producers Lashan Browning, Adam Gonzalez and Tiffany Lea Williams to overall deals, in a move by the studio to bring highly-skilled creative entrepreneurs in house.
The three seasoned executive producers are part of an initiative to incubate and invest in independent production ventures, enabling them to grow their brands while building long-term dynamic content partnerships with MTV Studios, the studio says.
“Lashan, Adam, and Tiffany are three proven hit-makers who know inside and out what our audience wants,” said Nina L. Diaz, President of Entertainment for Viacom’s Music Group. “Collectively, they share a talent for finding authentic voices and sparking cultural moments that resonate. VH1 has ordered a new docuseries following the sons and daughters of members of drug cartels, the network announced Monday.
The 10-episode “Cartel Crew,” produced by Big Fish Entertainment, will take a look at the lives of eight descendants of cartel life living in Miami, Florida as they navigate adulthood and the effects that the legacy has had on their upbringing. Now disconnected from their past, they want to make a name for themselves outside of the drug world, but find that escaping the shadows of their ancestors will come with a price.
The series will be led by Michael Blanco, the youngest son of the “Cocaine Godmother” Griselda Blanco, who left the drug life after 33 years when his mother was assassinated.
